Thanks OP. How did I not see this thread already? I'm going to have my dinner and order, I'm quite excited. :j
  • Is there no option for delivery to NI on the new site?

We really miss out here, no shops like this at all here.
  • I really want to use this site, it's such a good idea, but I've just spent ages filling my basket only to have almost everything disappear twice. I really can't sit here and fill it again on the offchance that it will stay filled this time. I'll try again when it settles down or maybe later when not so many people are shopping.

Update at 22.30 - Yayyyy - order place in one go! really looking forward to getting the parcel now
  • I agree with a post above. this site is awesome but is SO addictive. I get it into my head that if I dont buy it, it will go in the bin, I hate waste....next order gone in....£40
I am fast running out of cupboard space......and I am truly addicted to the fruit pots.

One by one the penguins steal my sanity.
  • Freddie, I ordered to Northern Ireland yesterday (just put in postage option 2) and got a call from Dan today regarding my order - he says it will be shipped out tomorrow...

There was no mention of any extra charge added on for Northern Ireland.

Just received my order, Very pleased thank you Dan.
  • Received my first order today.

    Avoid :
Honey pots. Mine had mould actively growing in them. Binned.
Soreen plum malt loaf (12 for £1). OK if there is someone you want to pelt cos they are like bricks. Thought I'd take a gamble on these but they have been binned too. Out of date Jan 08. On box says Nov 08. Avoid like the plague.

    Go for :
    Douwe Egberts mocha coffee. Yummy.
Lemon cheesecake biscuit thingies. V yummy.
    Nik naks. Fine.
    Pepperami. Fine.
    Lemon cake things. OK.
Marmite. Not yet tried but looks fine and well in date.
Kidney beans. HUGE tins for 10p.
    Skips. Fine.
    Discos. Fine.
Galaxy hot choc. Well in date.

    All in all.

Excellent delivery. Friendly driver. Well packed. Would use again. Mostly great, with a few no goes.

Good luck to Dan and his business, looks like he's going to be pretty busy.

3rd delivery for my tuckshop at work arrived. all looks good. will see how the cakes sell. marking up to 35p - for the mrs crimbles cakes and muffins - do you think that's reasonable?
excited to be offering cans of pop and fruit juices for the first time. can't be arsed to drag them to work normally, but got delivered straight to work. again, will see how they sell.

sky sweet tins by the way are yummy! like a tin of travel sweets, but each sweet quite big and tasty
    thanks dan
