Plan for today is bit of work/finance stuff/go out with DS later visiting

I applied to AQA as they have vacancies atm. I have sent in the application and test so will see if anything comes of this. I doubt I'll get in as ive read its hard but worth a shot!

Have got few things on ebay with few watchers etc. We have also sold our sofas and they are going tonight. Bit of extra cash in the pot for a new one! Not sure when we are moving exactly yet. Still doing work but will probably be early next week. I CAN NOT WAIT.

I need to post my item so I can get the 1300. OH going to pack this up tonight. Im not sure what im going to do with this money yet. It was going to go off cc and OD but I think I might just pay OD off and keep the rest to help pay for stuff. Not sure I will see. This morning I think I will just sort out all the money stuff ready even if it is worse case scenario! We are meant to be visiting friends at the weekend but OH doesn't want to go now as he would rather stay at home and start painting etc. I'd still like to go tho but not sure I can cope on my own with DS and all my kit and DS's kit. When OH is with me I can just say "can you...." but I don't like to get friend's OHs to do stuff for me! Although im sure they dont mind but I mind IYSWIM. Anyway I digress...will make a decision this morning anyway.

Have updated my April to do list. Going well. Apart from wii fit. im not sure whether to get rid of it afterall. I never use it!! Perhaps I might when we are living at our own place as its difficult here.

Must crack on!!!! Will update later or tomo with my EVIL money plan!!

Got keys yesterday and everything fine. Need to start decorating! Need to do SOA! Need to do lots of work! I have *so* much to do...will update properly when I have more time!!!!!

Afternoon....

Have decided that I can't really do any work as worrying too much about whether finances are in order...so have spent the day doing that instead. Which is fine but doesn't see my work load reduced! And when OH asks what've been doing there is only spreadsheets to show for it! :rolleyes:

Oh..had a NO from AQA. Oh well was expected! Need another bright idea??

OH will DEFINATELY pack up item tonight and send tomo. We need to get this cash in!!!!!

Have decided that will pay rent weekly as they only have the monthly option of the 1st - which is the worst time for us as that's when most of our stuff comes out!! Weekly works out quite well. We get 4 free weeks apparently (??!?) but I don't know when these are so have just included one for each week atm. I'm not sure how this works with the s/o though as surely i don't want to be paying on a "free" week iyswim?? Perhaps it is a crafty way for them to get 4 weeks rent a year extra from everyone! In fact that is rather clever as would be an awful lot of money if everybody paid on those weeks!!! hmmm..anyway I digress.....

Have found a cooker - been "hunting" round - have found it is 50 quid cheaper in littlewoods than elsewhere. Although this means I would technically be adding to my debt??? But i'll pay it off when the bill comes next month...so its not all bad...and its 0%....just feels bad becuz i'm very strict nowadays!!!!

We have a huge hole in the floor - so can't get carpets atm anyway. they are going to come and fix it - not sure when though! - but it means that I don't have to worry about sorting carpets out for a few days or sorting out a sofa.

SOA wise - still working on this. next job is to fill in the HB form and send this off. Don't want to delay things!! All looks fine though with my spreadsheets - only thing is I have forgotten to include for food for this month :eek::eek::eek::eek: and general spend money :eek::eek::eek:

Am owed - 50 phone rebate (have got e-mail to say been processed)
and have 20 ebay which is on its way to bank. 70 - this will go to get SIL's bday pressie (its her 18th and her bday was 6 months ago! :rolleyes:)
sofa money - 150 - 40 petrol, 20 bday pressie, then rest can go on general spends and FOOD! this should be enough to tide us over for a couple of weeks - 50/60 if we budget wisely - and we don't need any nappies or wipes either and this is what usually bumps it up!! Will do an online shop later as this usually makes it cheaper too! Need to do a meal plan then aswell - will add this to my list.

Oh have been told that i have a chest infection aswell (having weekly bloods atm) I do feel a bit ill but not too bad i'd just put it down to lots of stress atm and bit of a cold (DS got one!) got told to make an appt to get sorted (which ive done!) ......everything always comes at the same time!!! :rolleyes:

Anyway...will add to my list...have a good evening to the readers/lurkers i'm boring!!!

Done banking/scratchies etc. All fine. Need to pay rent today but im not actually sure HOW to pay it. It says I need to pay at PO with a card but obviously I dont have one yet - nothing about whether i can do over phone etc. will have to ring them later on.....

Getting on well. Painting all finished now - so have to move stuff in today. AND guess what.......its RAINING!! typical! :eek::eek: Oh well...can't have everything i spose

Anyway....must crack on today. MSE is totally banned. TOTALLY.

Well...oops. Been too busy to update! Had a lot going on...

Have managed to do banking and scratchies every day but thats about it! Got a quid today!! woop woop.

We have most of our boxes in now and have officially moved in. Still lots of sorting out to do. As per usual...lots seems to be going into the loft!!! Oh well. Never mind...least I have a loft now :rotfl:

Haven't been able to pay our rent...I only stress becuz I know that they will probably send me a mean letter :rolleyes: They haven't bothered to sort it out yet so I can actually make payments. Have decided I am not going to pay by d/d as can just pay online (but i need to be set up first...!)

Anyway....everything good. despite the rain! Hope all the readers good too!!

Well as no internet at new house yet...am using at parents still. (i pay for it!)
