I used my card for the first time on New Years Eve and on Monday I checked my statement and had been credited wth 1000 bonus points!

I read this thread and tried to email Nectar to complain, (was trying to avoid phoning India!) - Email kept coming back saying there was a problem. Then by coincidence a very nice man from Nectar rang to ask me if I wanted a card so I explained I already had one but tackled him about my points! He said that I would recieve the extra 5000 points on my next statement - fingers crossed!!!

I phone and was told to call the rewards number - 01273863863. I spoke to someone who could see I had signed up through the money supermarket web site but said the offer was for 2000 points. I said I know the offer had changed since but I had signed up, so he put me on hold to speak to someone and came back and said there are a lot of offers so a mistake must have been made and would credit the extra opints to me.

Very good customer service, be nice to them and insistent.

Yeah i too only got the 2000 reward points the first time i used the card!
i have just tried to ring American express but the lines close after 7:00pm so i will try again tomorrow.
There is no way i am gonna miss out on the other 4000 points! As im sure you know they are worth £20!

Redeeming at Adams, 4000 points is worth £40!

Has Argos stopped taking Nectar now (as no Argos deals available on Nectar website)?

i didnt know that they were worth double the money @ Adams.
Not sure about the Argos thing?
God if many more companys pull out from being assoiated with nectar the card wont be worth having will it???
At the moment i prety much use all the 1000 point vouchers and such like that Nectar send me in the post for various outlets and let the points build up all year untill xmas when i spend them all on booze at Sainsbury's just like this year lol

Both myself and my wife got these cards and have both only received 2000 points. I contacted Amex who said that it will be put right in my next statement _ I'm not convinced though!

Just spoke to a nice chap called Tommy at American Express his ext number is 48735 if anyone wants it.
He tells me that every second call he has taken today is from people like us who so far have only received 2000 or the promissed 6000 nectar points for taking out the card.
He told me the points are split 2000 first month and 4000 next month, reason for this is so that people dont just grab the points and run ;-) I was assured by Tommy that the other 4000 points will be credited next statement.
Lets hope he is right!
