Never gave me my full points either. I refuse to wait on the line to speak to someone in another country so spent 31p on a stamp and put it all in writing to customer services at the address on the statement. Points turned up on my nectar account the following month, although they never replied to my letter.
My advise is always have a moan on paper, you can keep it consise and to the point wihtout getting steamed up over how long you've been hanging on the phone.

Thats not true and here is the proof.
It very clearly says that "apply" before 31st Dec 2005 and earn 6000 points.

NicolaAll I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy.0 -

Okay - some clarity needed here....
For those who know for certain they have received 6000 - did you get it as one large amount or split up as smaller amounts over a period of time ?
What does it show on https://www.nectar.com when you login - there is some very detailed information on there....
Humble Thanks.0 -
OK, I received my Amex Nectar card on 22nd December and spent on it same day.
Checked points balance on 28th Dec via automated system on 0845 6005210 and they had only given me 2000 points. So spoke to Nectar points customer services and was told it would be manually credited in the next few days.
Checked points again today still only 2000 points balance so spoke to customer services 'again'. This time they said I would not receive the full amount of points until I get my second bill, otherwise people would just collect the points and scarper.
Edit: Spoke to customer services for a third time this evening (just for good measure) and was told by a rep called 'Lee' that he was putting a note on my account and they would try and get the points added before I receive my next statement if not it would be on the statement after that.A cynic is a man who knows the price of everything but the value of nothing.0 -
