Help, I recently claimed to Paypal for item not received and have just received this :
In response to your complaint, the seller has provided proof of postage
indicating that the item was posted to you. Therefore, we cannot reverse
this transaction or issue a refund. We encourage you to continue to work
directly with the seller to amicably resolve this dispute.
I NEVER received the item, what do I do now ? It has really peed me off and I dont think I will be buying from Ebay again. I paid for an item and never receievd it yet here I am with nothing to show for my money. Does the Seller have to do a Post Office claim or something like that ?
Basically im asking Have I lost my money here, even though it wasnt an expensive item I am quite angry about it.
Thanks in advance.

I assume the seller sent the goods recorded then coz paypal need a tracking number to find in the sellers favour. Do you know if this is the case? If so then have u checked the tracking number?Accept that some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue.0

No he sent it standard postage and all he has is proof of postage.0 -
You can get proof of posting on anything if you hand it over at the post office counter - a certificate of postage.Zackeriney wrote:you cant have proof of postage on standard can you? i thought it had to be special
Recorded/special delivery give you proof of delivery.0 -
The seller has a proof of Posting slip so after 15 working day if the parcel has not arrived (as is the case with you) they then submit a claim with the Post Office (They will have to ask for a claim form, available at any Post office) and send off the Claim form with a photocopy of the Proof of posting slip.
The Post Office then reimburse the Seller, who would then reimburse you.
You need to email your Seller and explain this to him/her.0 -
Thanks for that, I will do it now although I think the seller will probably ignore me like he ignored my emails. He only started replying to my mail when I told him I was doing a chargeback and then he gave me the excuse that MY emails were bouncing back, funny how nobody else I mailed had any problems receiving from me though.
Im not gonna buy from Ebay again, im just glad it wasnt a more expensive item.0 -
Hi
does this look ok to send to the seller ?
Hi as you will be aware paypal have decided in your favour. Now to be honest I am not happy about this becasue I never received the item. I have been advised that you can do a claim via royal Mail as you have proof of postage, please can youu start this process off for me.
I am led to beleive that its you who does the claim but if its the other way and I have to do it can you provide me with any information I need.
Is this what I send or do I need to change anything ?
Thanks0 -
It sounds okay to me
