    Hi guys

Pink, thanks for sharing the above although you have set me off crying again. I'm finding today much harder than previous 11/11. I think it is because of starting my family tree I now know of a great great uncle who died in WWI. Obviously most of us will have relatives who fought but it is knowing the name of one, now knowing where he lays in peace, seeing his war record card that makes it so much more personal. My Mum lost her Dad to WWII, he only saw her once and I know it has greatly affected the person she is today.

Maybe some flying will help me.

Please can you try not to post between 11:00-11:02 as a mark of respect?
    Dusty, I agree :).
    Pink, I echo Dusty's thoughts.
It is a reflective day, and I for one, am praying for those who feel alone or scared or empty inside. I also pray for those who are happy, that they may share their joy and think on those who are less fortunate.

Good morning all, school run done, picked up some bits i needed at the shops, got home and discovered I missed the plumber!!!! GRRR. Rebooked it for tomorrow AM. Gonna miss my course again now lol.
I've got maths this afternoon, so gonna try and squeeze in some unpacking and sorting out. Feeling a bit better today... no tears hehe.

Ended up freecycling the sofa we got from my parents when we moved in cos i missed my lovely, comfy, red corner sofa too much. DP retrieved it last night so i feel alot happier now lol.

    Hello all
Back after a week off, failed my driving test (boo) but there's always next time I suppose.

I eventually passed on my fifth attempt:eek: No, no, I'm safe on the roads honestly! :rotfl: I used to get so worked up about the tests I'd do stupid things, so by the time I got to my fifth I just assumed I'd fail so I was quite relaxed about it - and very surprised to pass!
  • Morning everyone.

My list for today is complete. I'm just going to make a start on writing some Xmas cards before I go and get my hair cut.

Hope everyone is having a good day
  • Morning all

The sun is shining in Newport but OMG is it freezing!!!!!!!! Currently preparing myself for the arrival of littlest nephew as I'm taking him and little sis for a wander around the shops today. I do adore him but shopping with him is never a relaxing experience.

    So far today;
    WM x2
    TD X1
DW unloaded and waiting to be reloaded with lunch dishes
    Dogs fed, watered and brushed
Dog beds hoovered-Buy a black lab and yee shall spend your life hoovering
