I'm sorry I havn't had a chance to look at the thread at all yet, but for all those kind enough to be thinking about me, I had a scan today & they have found a lump/growth the size of a 'watermelon' attached either to the ovary or uterus, until they have done further tests I won't know, but whatever & wherever it has to come out ASAP:eek: .

Oven Pride is (and I say this in a very quiet voice because it's not really OS) a wonderful oven cleaner that Pigpen mentioned once and I bought seeing it was in Mr T's. It doesn't appear to be like the caustic stuff in there's no smell, no nasty fumes etc.
You just put a bit on and then go away and let it do its magic. You can use it on the racks, but I, stupidly, chose not to and did those by hand. I will 'fess up. I haven't really cleaned the floor of my oven for probably five years - though the racks have been done occasionally, as has the glass door. The hob is always sparkling (because that's the bit people see!). But, this evening, I have a partially pristine oven floor. I'm sure an application later tonight and left overnight will have it back to its original mocha colour rather than burnt on debris colour.
Well, did Mr T's and was shocked and delighted at the same time. Starting with the delight, the only butter I use - Lurpack - was on offer - 25p off. This is really good timing because the butter mountain I have in my freezer is down to molehill size. I felt very guilty scooping up the last 10 or so packs on the shelf but then thought what the heck - if I don't snap them up, someone else will!
The shock bit is the price of meat has gone up again so has washing detergent (an extra 30p from last week on the brand I use ). Plus, the store was, again, at almost siberian like temperatures for no apparent reason. It was, actually, warmer outside than in.
But there we are, I have enough in now to last the week so I don't need to go there again.
Have had gin and gossip with Nice Neighbour and there's some lamb shanks braising in the nice, clean, shiney oven for dinner which will be ready fairly soon so all is reasonably well in my world at this moment in timeI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Evening all :hello:.
Well that's another week gone. My lovely OH has nearly finished the other side of the kitchen.:T He's plumbed the washing machine back in as I've been without it since last weekend so load number 2 is in now and there's a huuuuuggggeeeeeeeee backlog.
Had tea and now just going to mooch on here and then try to get some of the list done.
Back soon. xxDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Lady Liberty - Hugs to you.:grouphug:
tooch, Flower, Valli, lil-me - Well it looks as though I have truly lost the plot. So no change there then:rolleyes::p
However, Mr Tag is a little like Mr Hex so it seems and occasionally has the odd sudden burst of energy. But, because these instances are so rare, they have to be acted upon the minute they appear else they are lost almost for good.
Don't know if any of you remember but back in the summer I was very angry at Mr Tag as it took him 4 months to decorate DD bedroom. Yes the one we are just about to redecorate for DS:o:rolleyes: Mmmmmmm starting to have second thoughts now.........
No we will do it. I have 3 days off and Mr Tag is also at a loose end at the moment to and I think doing something constructive will help him a bit. It will only cost us 2 tins of paint and a curtain pole, as we have everything else already. So quite MSE really.
Plus DS had asked to have his room decorated as his Christmas present this year.Strange child that he is. So we will have sorted a present for one. But as things improve next year, and they flippin well will if I have anything to do with it, cos it can't get any worse than it is at the moment I wouldn't have thought. ** runs off to find some wood to touch**. I'll treat him to something special at some point. Though I will get him something for Christmas too.
And two, DD has got so much stuff. She has the box room, which contains, well actually it doesn't cos she has got so much stuff that it just won't fit. So she doesn't play with half of it. Courtesy of an over indulgent grandmother mostly.
Once it's all done and sorted it should make the flying alot easier as well when it comes to the kids rooms.
So two rooms, disassembled, decorated, decluttered and reassembled in three days.:p;):eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
Right well that's me done. It's been a pleasure to know and fly with you all. I'm now off to commit myself to the local asylum.:rotfl::rotfl::wave:0 -
Lady-Liberty So glad you've posted, if you get the chance to have a read through the thread you'll see you've been in everyone's thoughts all day. Goodness though, how worrying for you. And watermelon size  Poor you, no wonder you haven't been feeling great.
Have they told you when you'll be having more tests/treatment?
((((hugs)))) to you honey, and best wishes and healing vibes.MMSSB Club Founder Member

Lady Liberty blimey you'll be a stone lighter with something that sort of size taken out, fingers crossed you get it sorted soon ((big hugs))
TAG however barmy, if your DH is willing to help and will until it's FINISHED (see mine would disappear after it was started) then go for it.
Hmmm, Boots have two of the toys I wanted in stocktrying to decide what else to get this time. I have a large 'from Boots' list, but splitting into smaller orders to maximise points
