    Hi all,

was washing out the filter in my WM and found 10p. It paid me to do some hosework today but granted not a lot.

Crikey! I know there's a credit crunch but I didn't think they'd reduced the minimum wage by that much! :rotfl:

I've finished my kitchen drawers - sitting down. If I feel up to it I may tackle the tins cupboard after dinner, but I'll need to sit on the floor for that.

I am very bad with ick so mine are pretty good at dealing with it themselves.. they are taught to use a bucket and get themselves to the loo from birth!! lol.. Tiddles managed to get to the loo at 2 years old :D .. I can't empty buckets.. in fact my throat is constricting just typing about it!!

I am exactly the same...mine were taught to get to the bathroom and then yell...not least because there is vinyl in there. When kids I am teaching claim they don't feel well I always ask them if they feel sick and then tell them that if they think they are going to be sick they must just go...I dread having a puker in class.

DD has come in - says she has not had a good day because a bottle was thrown at her ...in music? and she had a nosebleed... and the teacher didn't know... good grief.

If we lived in 'ull I might be putting 2 and 2 together :rotfl:

  • Off to the chemist for prescriptions but still not decided on dinner. I might let DH cook!

DD is in Bristol tonight. DS is going to GF's to watch Children in Need and eat pizza. TBH every time he has been there for a meal, it's been pizza. I wouldn't mind, but she doesn't work! Surely she could try cooking instead of "open a packet and stick something in the oven". If we have pizza we make our own, as we do almost everything else, and that's with 3 out of 4 of us working full time.

Well at the minute i am posting with no idea what anyone else is upto, forgive but i have been so pushed this last 2 days that there is just so much going on, on here.

Basically i have my MIL here with me for a few days she has had a knee replacement and her recovery isn't that brill and my bil as much of a good blooke he is, he isn't too well either and struggles to walk to far apart from work thats about as much exercise as he gets!! Anyways its been real busy but quite enjoyable just having some company, i gave my first strip wash today and wash very panicky never had to do out like that before but i didn't even get embarassed, so thats 1 to me!!:T So as my MIL is here, so is BIL when he is not at work he is sleeping on our sofa and MIL is in dd's bed and dd was in my bed but OH is home tonight so dd is going across to my mums! UHM i don't think there will be much you know what this weekend~~

I got little gremlin to bed and MIL went at the same time and i started cleaning, it was a bombsite even for all my flying this week. I have just spent 2 hours nonstop cleaning and i am now having a much deserved :coffee: just have the bathroom to do when the sleepies wake up and then vac up and clean sofa! All done. OH and ironing.

I have to say i am starting to panic alittle/lot about xmas suddenly its not far away and i am not at all ready no where near. I really have got to pull my finger out!!!! Is it just me?

Need to go and get dinner ready - I think I'll do a veggie version of the cowboy hash recipe - at least it's quick and easy!

I used frozen veggie mince, and instead of using a tin of oxtail soup I used a tin of curry sauce. It went down very well. In fact it all got eaten - even though there was plenty left for another meal which I was hoping to freeze!

    Hi all

Well I went to the Dr about my ulcerative colitis & after examining my tummy he has found a 'lump' don't know whether it is connected to that problem or possibly ovary. Anyhoo the upshot is I have to be at the hospital 9-00am tomorrow for an urgent scan, came as a huge shock, thought I was going to faint & of course can't contact DH until later because he is in a meeting. So feeling rather bleurgh at the moment... sorry to whinge...hope everyone else is doing OK lots of poorlies around earlier.
    xx

I hope it's nothing serious! Fingers crossed for you.

Anyone around? I'm bored! Struggling to actually walk at all at the moment. Had to send DD1 upstairs when she came home from school to fetch DD2 as I couldn't move. DD1 also filled the kettle for me, made me a coffee (under supervision as the kettle is heavy) and filled the jug with boiling water for my heat pack. She's also said she'll help me with the dishwasher and dinner :D Think as I'm sitting here I might clear my desk. Probably not doing me much good hunching over to get to the keyboard because if I put my chair comfortably in the middle of the desk then I'm all wrong because the mess has pushed everything to the right!

    Hello all

I'm home a bit earlier than usual, took the afternoon off but then had a horrendous journey home (I missed my train so thought I'd get a bus instead of waiting 30 mins for the next train - big big mistake!). Anyway, here now. No energy for anything, let alone flying!

Must pop the WM on at the very least though and MrT is coming between 5&7. DH is sorting the dinner (enchiladas).

What I really want is a bath, but don't think I'll settle in the bath til after the shopping has come...

I just got all the washing in and not one thing had dried, after being out there since about 9am. So it's all hung around the house now on radiators etc. At least it makes the house smell nice!
