Thankyou SarahS - I do feel it's an achievement even though my hands are now protesting big time about all that scrubbing. I think I have scrubber's RSI :rotfl:
The bottom of the oven will need another going over with oven pride overnight because there's still some burnt stuff there but everything else is sparklyAnd I'll put a layer of foil down shortly anyway.
I am now going to change out of these clothes which are covered in fairy liquid, stardrops, water and oven gloop, stick them in the washing machine and go and do Mr T.
And SarahS - I personally would starve for 24 hours - or at least until the morning.
Pigpen - hope things are OK your end. Do you feel I've earned a dog biscuit?I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

I gave her dioralyte, which she kept down, and then some blackcurrant, which she brought straight back. So she's back on the dioralyte. What do you do with yours. I'm not asking for medical advice here... just mummy opinions of what you do with yours?
If it continues for 24+ hours you should yack to the quack.. otherwise mine get minimal sympathy, a bucket and a beaker of water..
I am very bad with ick so mine are pretty good at dealing with it themselves.. they are taught to use a bucket and get themselves to the loo from birth!! lol.. Tiddles managed to get to the loo at 2 years old.. I can't empty buckets.. in fact my throat is constricting just typing about it!!

Hi all,
Was washing out the filter in my WM and found 10p. It paid me to do some housework today but granted not a lot.
Following this for the past two days as kept me on my toes and my house and family are the better for it.
xGC Spent - NGC £300 / £2 adults 3 children 1 dog0 -
flat coke makes mine 10 times worse.. and it has supposedly the same effect/use as the dioralyte but also has loads of junk in it.. I'd stick with the dioralyte.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

sarah - I usually let them drink dilute apple juice - the little bit of sugar seems to help it stay down better than water. DD likes to have sliced apple when she starts to feel better. I usually crave weak tea with very little milk, and dryish toast.
I've had another day at home, although I had a call to work today in a school I really like, and had to say 'no'. Not much money coming in next Friday! Good job it's the week the Child benefit and Tax credits go in.
Minimal flying - I'll catch up next week. Day off, and DS1 is cooking steak and mushroom pie tonight as we felt that pastry would be a good thing to try next.
pigpen - I really can't think of anything to say - except 'Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof', which is one I mutter when I'm up against it...(hope I've remembered that right!)It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
I have been to the dentist (check up) and have booked a hygienist appointment for Dec. Both are paid for so I now need to fill in the claim form...
Been to the xmas do venue and paid more deposit and some cheques in and now have 21 people booked. We are supposed to pay in full by Mon but I think they'll be ok if I don't make it until Thurs...
Parked in Lidl car park for the dentist so thought it would be churlish not to pop in...this was a good decision as they had sets of proper carpet type car mats and the correct shape for my car so I have bought them...been needing new ones for MONTHS not least because my one has gone all soft IYSWIM and kept rucking up under my feet. No doubt this was actually unsafe. When I got back the sun was out so I have pegged out the sheets instead of using the TD - if they don't dry they will be 'lightened' at least. The sun has clearly gone to my head as I then decided to prune the wygelia shrub which was restricting access to the car, trimmed my big peony (I have 3:D ) and picked up some leaves from the trees across the road which have blown onto my border and hunkered down among the geraniums.
Oh and I paid the paper bill...no more snotty letters from them then:D I no longer routinely walk past the paper shop as I no longer take DS and DD to school:D
Have bagged up stuff for charity shop and thrown DSs trainers one of which which developed trainer flap (is that right AnWs Mum? That's what your DH called it if I remember...)
Now I MUST go make those beds...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

My bigger 2 are really good at the whole business, I'm with you on the training them early to deal with it. DD3, however, panics. Although, the amount of times she's vommed today, have provided us with a training opportunity, Learning Obective : to keep one's head down and to make one's sick to go into the loo or bowl.
Always one for the learning opportunity me!! :rotfl: :rotfl:MMSSB Club Founder Member
