Hermit-crab - hadn't heard of this website before so decided to look at other recipes. This one here - chttp://www.vickery.tv/acatalog/steamed_hot_chocolate_pudding.html is the strangest baked salmon trout I've seen:D

I made this for Christmas day and it was gorgeous!! If you have some Baileys left [or the Lidl version in my case] it's lovely in a warm milk as a bedtime drink!!

I made the Baileys cheesecake on boxing day and I have to say it was DELICIOUS!! i had so many compliments that my head was too big for the kitchen! I have already been asked to make it for a couple of family parties in the next few months. I think i'll try the after eight version next. :j

I'm so pleased that the cheesecakes turned out OK, the basic recipe is so adaptable that you could throw all sorts of flavours in and it will work.
Catowen, are you thinking about liquid glucose? it's a different thing to gelatine.0 -
I made Baileys cheesecake fore dessert on new years day. Yum yum yum yum yum.
I am a hopeless cook, and I bought 2 gateaux(sp?) just in case. But it was so good, the gateux were both almost untouched.
I am going to try the after eight one next, too. Sons birthday later this month, it'd be a shame to waste the opportunity!Threadhead0 -

My cheesecake was lumpy!!!!!
I dont think I will bother with the gelatine (source of the problem) again unless I can get it right!! It did get eaten but there were a few faces pulled whilst chewing the lumps!!!
I must be the awfulest cook ever!!!!
You'd think the recipe was foolproof ....... ;-)0 -
Is there a non alcoholic version of baileys? I know thats a daft question but is there any sort of substitute?0
