    So why have they removed all trace of any mention of the FSA on their website??
    Ask the FSA and/or Ebay and come back with your answers. By default it is regulated by the FSA who act for the Luxembourg body they do mention on their website.

    Ebay/Paypay say:

    "PayPal will be regulated centrally by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF), the Luxembourg bank authority.
    On 2 July 2007, your customer relationship will be automatically transferred from PayPal (Europe) Ltd. to PayPal Luxembourg"

    So clearly nothing whatsoever to do with the FSA.

    But then why would an owned American company based in Luxembourg be under the jurisdiction of the FSA??

    Are you confusing the FSA with the FOS?

    The Luxembourg authority (CSSF) is regulated by the FSA, so by default Paypal are!

    RFW I think you will find that most people have certain users on ignore which is why some posts are overlooked on threads.
