Not been on here for a week as I have had nothing OS to post really, how do you working OS'ers do it?
we aren't perfect you know!:D (I'm not any way;) ) like someone said - you have to prioritise whats the most important to you. For me its getting all the laundry done, ironed and the kitchen and bathroom clean plus having some decent food - that being said I dont make everything myself - just dont have time with a fulltime job, 2 part time jobs and a teaching course:D Get your family to help if possible and take small steps, dont try and do everything at once.
Am listening to the festival of remembrance on tv, my Mum will be marching tomorrow and carrying a British Legion standard.
Wrapped my first few christmas presents tonight.:snow_grin
Off for a soak in the bath soon so enjoy your evening folks x
PennyPenguin - love your picture:DDo what you love :happyhear0 -
I'm watching the Festival of Remembrance too - very moving as always when those poppies fall. The Mum and sister who were interviewed - the Mum looks so young...as do all those servicemen and women.
What a tragic waste.Resolution:

Hi guys,
Not been around for a while as I haven't been too clever. The glands in my throat have been up and I have felt pretty lousy - still I have managed to get to work courtesy of pain killers (no work - no pay, the joys of being relief staff  ) and puddled through the last week or so. I lost 2 days pay this next pay packet due to LO having chicken pox and can't really afford to loose more.
The saga of the bedroom is over and I have been sleeping in there for the last few nights. The room itself is really beautiful and I am dead chuffed with it - and sleeping, so :T :T :T
Tomorrow's plan (today!!) is to sort out the airing cupboard, finish off the ironing, change the beds, the usual clean and clean the hall, landing and stair carpet once the kids are in bed. The 2 eldest are off to a cubs/brownies parade in the morning and are really looking forward to it. Lunch will be something on toast and tea - roast lamb and all the trimmings.
Gentle hugs to all in need and congratulations to all celebrating.
Pen-pin, I know I have missed you going in by a mile but good luck and I am thinking of you.
CM - Thank you hun and Hi!.

How blatant is this?
I'm only posting to show off my poppy avatar stolen from Gingham Ribbon:o :rotfl: Do hope she will forgive me.
Great to hear from you smoky:D Glad the bedroom has worked out;) Hope you've shaken off the lurgy. Unless we get some seriously cold weather, I'll bet loads of us will succumb in the next few weeks:rolleyes:You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
