i dont know if everyone realises that you can top up mobile phones. i have topped my duaghters up 3 times with £10 each time and got the extra points and the no 7 voucher too!
also can anyone tell me if i have a everyday indulgence voucher for 150 extra points, is it 1 coupon per product or if i buy 8 bottles do i get 8 x 150 points???
you can use the 75 points for £10 spend with the others, one per transaction means one of EACH coupon.
As for the Indulgence coupons, it depends on the SA you go to, some will swipe all ten for you in one go.0 -
Am I a complete moron for not knowing that you can only use Advantage points to pay for an item if you can pay the full amount in points (ie you can't pay half points and the rest cash)? feel free to say yes. I honestly had no idea and felt a fool today when trying to buy a digital camera. Bought the camera anyway and got the points. LOL0

Glad to know. Actually the woman was very nice especially as I completely forgot my pin number for my bank card - it totally just went out my head and more I tried to remember, more i forgot. Ah well hopefully will have enough points this time next year for something big.
Oh and all Looking Good leaflets gone gone gone in Dundee. Couldn't find a one.0 -
went to bolton boots yesterday and followed the woman round as she made loads of stuff down to 75% off hehe!
managed to get £108.98 worth for £30!
plus i did it in three lots of £10 and used a 75 extra points voucher each time and got 3 £5 no7 vouchers- which i spent on 3 of the reduced face illuminators, was £10, half price, so free!
plus 15 td products for free!- so all in all i should have spent £198.98!
hehe! i love boots!:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0 -
I was at Boots in hamilton the two branches- and all their advantage machines were down - pooH! Loads of baby clothyes in the sale at the new hamilton branch. A lot of the staff were buying up the stock of alcholoic stuff.More gifts in the old store but nothing really amazing. Iwas at EK on sunday- but things tend to go there easily.
Good stock of TD stuff- except wipes in the town centre branch- but had the micro kits.0 -

The 300 point vouchers for No7 (insert specific range name here, I can't remmeber) from the AC machines are working with other No 7 stuff - I can only vouch for the No7 gift sets (currently the small nail varnish/lipstick ones are marked £3 Shelf edge, but scan at £2.50) = pay £2.50 for the gift set, get 310 points
I went at a quiet time and got a good few. Went back to counter and the SA told me to go to the photo desk for my second batch. There, the manager/supervisor told me they're only valid for the range on the voucher. It seemed she over-ruled the almighty computer that runs Boots. Never mind, I told a couple of people in the store who were buying just the one set, 'pay it forward' and all thatFunny, seeing as the original SA missed some vouchers while scanning them through, and her supervisor at that end of the store can and put the points on my card no questions asked! On my way out there was some staff in a mini meeting near and AC machine, thinking of how they can stop people from using the vouchers......
why do the sa's hate the vouchers so much? is it just because they often fail to scan properly and they have to put them through by hand or is it just the free points etc that we all get that bugs them, lol?0 -
just checked my boots reciept from sunday again and i can't beleive it
i got £190 worth of dr and td for £5.25 (22 items in total)
16 of these were for dr which was half price then bogof ( 158.50 worth off stuff)
i am not keen on some of the dr smells but have given them away to friends who love them0 -

I'm a moron too - tried to buy some hair straighteners for £50 but only had £35 in points, had my daughter with me who had £20 in points but there was no way we could pay extra cash or combine the points from both cards. Can't understand it really, you don't have this problem if using gift vouchers or coupons.0 -
bit miffed to read some people have been allowed to use their £5 no.7 voucher on gift sets when i wasn't! & b4 u say only on some & not others i got the mini skincare set that someone said they got with their voucher. oh well. it will get used as a raffle prize anyway. btw if u r overrun with td wipes they can be sent in Christmas boxes to romania at Xmas - no liquids/cleansers etc. but wipes r fine.Cleaning the house while children are growing is like shovelling snow when it's still snowing!0
