This is just an ongoing Boots bargain hunt thread.

    I'll try...
Get an advantage card. Use it in the machines in store to get vouchers printed out. Get on mailing list from Boots. Use subsequent offers( e.g. 100 points for 99p spend) to boost advantage card balance at minimum cost. Most of the offers from before Christmas are out of date. Recent frenzy centres around in store leaflets with vouchers ( see freebie thread for summary of best offer.), and No 7 vouchers , now finished.
People helpfully post when they have found a particular bargain.

Okay, I know it's not my place but I've just started a Boots Grabbit Bargains 5 thread... as this one's a big fella now.

If that's okay, could I ask the moderator of this board to shut this one so people are directed to the new bit. Thks.

  • The discussion on here is beginning to remind me of the tesco misprice discussion thread, where people argue over how much to take advantage of that loophole and generally argue often about how much is too much, and it gets a bit depressing.

Yes, I know what you mean and realised after I had posted that I really didn't want to enter into an ethical debate because it's the "how long is a piece of string" argument. I just believe in moderation myself, and I love the fact that most people on the Boots thread seem to come from such a good place, just don't want it spoiled. Will try to keep it positive in future!
There are three ways to get something done; do it yourself, hire someone or forbid your kids to do it.

What the Boots thread really needs is a constantly updated summary as it's first post, with a mod or one poster constantly refreshing a list of the current offers.

(Like the Freebies "Try Me Free" thread.)

It's a high-maintenance thread to keep up with, but worth it though! :D

Thanks to whoever pointed out that the 300 points for No 7 from the AC machine will work with all no 7 stuff, if the SA can be persuaded to put it through
Does this voucher apply 300 points to each No 7 product in a transaction? Or does it just apply 300 points per transaction, meaning you have to do multiple transactions is you're buying more than one No 7 product?

It only work per transaction for me last week. I had two no.7 items.
