How is that greedy exactly? x

Sorry what I referring to was the comment about people telling the vouchers on Ebay.

I was saying is how exactly is that greddy?

What I mean is people (not me because I cant find hardly any :() are taking advantage of the vouchers in one way by getting loads so why shouldn't they sell them.

    I'll shut up now! x

I'm glad these are being sold on ebay......it's the only hope I have of getting hold of some at the moment. Can't get to Boots just now and will be just my luck when I do get there they wont have any left! Obviously I wont pay a huge amount for them, but I dont want to miss out all together just because I'm not well enough to go out ;)

Also some SA's seem happy to let people put multiple purchases through and allow you to use the No.7 300 points voucher for items other than stated.. I have encountered jobsworths and rude SA's on most visits to Boots in the last week or so...

To be honest Boots stafff in general are nice but they are human and also we have had just a sample of cases on here of people being rude and exploitative. If they are having to face this kind of abusive attitude everyday then yip they probably will be jobsworth and grumpy. Thats what I mean by the fact that it could all back fire on everyone and boots could really tighten up. I have worked in retail for years and its horrible when people forget you a person and not a company product.

Agree totally, but I haven't been rude or exploitative at any time.. I would be reprimanded in my job for being rude to my clients, whatever the reason. Can understand some will be sick of the sight of bargain hunters wielding TD vouchers, but not everyone has took the 'p'.. my comment was really just to point out the vast differing experiences some people have had, from SA's pointing out the vouchers and products and allowing multiple purchases to some being reduced to tears by surly SA's. I had one following me around the store yesterday watching what I was buying, I guess that p'eed me off a bit hence the post! :o

I have so far not had a nasty sales assistant. They have all been nice and polite. In fact it makes me feel great about Boots as a company. Felt a bit strange last night though when a security guard started following me around.....but there was only about 2 people in the store so I guess it gave him something to do.

OH essentially last night dared me to go back into Boots (the same store) and to use some more of the vouchers....well I could hardly refuse the challenge could I?

  • Does it seem mean to want to take advantage of this offer.

I have taken today off work and am about to go on a 20 mile round trip to 2 small and 2 big and 1 HUGE Boots to use about 50 vouchers (and anymore I can pick up at the previous store). I am going to take everything off their shelves, but in a nice way. I usually take 3 different items to one checkout, then ditto to another and another and another checkout. Until I have run out of checkouts.

I love giving things, so all of the products will be given to friends and people at work. I know I won't use the cleanser (of which I have about 19 - so will stop) nor the toner - so will happily give those away.

But at present I have 25 wipes and will keep some of those as I use them - I'm essentially lazy and can't be bothered with the whole cleaner/toner/scrub/etc...

There seems to be no other MSE people that live around my area as their are always leaflets in my local shops and there is always product on the shelves. And no, I won't tell you where I live.

    Happy days...

Thanks to whoever pointed out that the 300 points for No 7 from the AC machine will work with all no 7 stuff, if the SA can be persuaded to put it through, I now have enough points for my ipod (though ds has his eye on it before I've even purchased it!). Guess a trip to Bristol Cribbs Causeway is in order - may even find some other bargains! Can't wait to pay for this with my points - yippee!
