Found a SA the other day who stated only one TD per person - so put back stuff that had told dd's I would pick up - went back after school with my 3 dd's plus ds plus some of their friends and handed each of them a voucher and let them choose what they wanted - SA looked none too pleased! I did tell her that it wasn't all for me to start with, and I wasn't fibbing!GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000

FOUND ANOTHER FREEBIE!!!
Use the £1.50 voucher out the de stress leaflet, go to the essential aromatherapy products and you will see essential aromatherapy body spray grapefruit lime, tall glass bottle. In my store shelf was labelled £1, but it actually went through at 50 pence. Now you actually get back £1.50 for every product you buy, so I bought 4 at 50 pence, so get back £6, need buy something alongside to absorb this extra cash they are giving you, I bought nappies.
Hope this helps0 -
That must be a one-off then. I know that some of the vouchers will give you £X PER ITEM, but they don't normally give you the extra, where the item is cheaper, iykwim.
Unfortunately, none of my local Boots has any of the EA items left.

I have taken today off work and am about to go on a 20 mile round trip to 2 small and 2 big and 1 HUGE Boots to use about 50 vouchers (and anymore I can pick up at the previous store). I am going to take everything off their shelves, but in a nice way. I usually take 3 different items to one checkout, then ditto to another and another and another checkout. Until I have run out of checkouts.
I love giving things, so all of the products will be given to friends and people at work. I know I won't use the cleanser (of which I have about 19 - so will stop) nor the toner - so will happily give those away.
But at present I have 25 wipes and will keep some of those as I use them - I'm essentially lazy and can't be bothered with the whole cleaner/toner/scrub/etc...
There seems to be no other MSE people that live around my area as their are always leaflets in my local shops and there is always product on the shelves. And no, I won't tell you where I live.
Happy days...
PERSONAL OPINION - YOU DID ASK. I THINK YOU ARE BEING GREEDY. EVEN IF YOU ARE GIVING THEM AWAY, 19 CLEANSERS, 25 WIPES AND TODAY YOU ARE TAKING THE DAY OFF TO GET ANOTHER 50!!! TOTALLY AGAINST THE SPIRIT OF THIS SITE AND IF JUST A FEW ABUSE IT, THEN THERE'S NONE LEFT FOR EVERYONE ELSE.There are three ways to get something done; do it yourself, hire someone or forbid your kids to do it.0 -
Boots Chelmsford have just put out some pink no7 gift bags, on 3 for 2, with makeup brushes in one and eyeshadow/mascara/blusher/lipstick/powder in another for £4.50-£5.00. Also lots of spa bath crystals at 25p and some TD foundation at £5 though the voucher doesn't work in it.And now there is £3 off haircare prioducts if you spend £10 ( Toni and Guy, Trevor Sorbie, John Frieda Mark Hil Lee Stafford Charles worthington ;works like the no 7 vouchers)
While I was in there saw a manager take away all the beige leaflets as apparently you can get free things from it, and he had been told to remove them. Which is a shame, he remarked, as if people actually want the stuff its a good offer.Though why wanting it and getting it free are contradictory I don't know!
Anyway, I headed over to the little store and furtively took almost all the other leaflets, which I only did as thought they would go in the bin.Felt like a shoplifter, but did it anyway.
So anyone in Chelmsford, pm me if you want some more,as I will not use all of these and you would be very welcome to some. I wonder whether they will just not restock? All there was in the big Boots under £5 was some reduced face treatment stuff, old stock.0 -

After all, if there is always stuff there, then no other people are being disadvantaged. And they say that they are giving the stuff to friends and colleagues, not stockpiling it for themselves or selling it on ebay for gain. Nor is the poster upsetting staff and spoiling it that way, by going to different stores and tills. And writing in capitals is difficult to read and is a convention for shouting at someone apparently.0 -
Didn't want to be harsh or shout but the question was asked and my personal opinion is that 19 cleansers, 25 wipes PLUS whatever else, and at least another 50 today seems excessive when there are people posting that they are going and finding empty shelves, sales assistants who are being rude and being restricted to one coupon per purchase. Maybe as a new poster, she may not be aware of the consequences. There are three ways to get something done; do it yourself, hire someone or forbid your kids to do it.0

personal opinion, no it doesn't seem mean, but it sounds excessive.0 -
I know what you mean mollybrush, and meant no offence to you. However, its too late now to save this offer- Boots are already withdrawing it. I think that really all of us have taken advantage of a big loophole Boots never intended, and I do feel a bit guilty about it at times , so justify it in different ways.Certainly I have spent more money in Boots than I ever intended to in the course of getting all these offers. And when you look at the thread and see others taking bigger advantage, then your few items look less bad.
The discussion on here is beginning to remind me of the tesco misprice discussion thread, where people argue over how much to take advantage of that loophole and generally argue often about how much is too much, and it gets a bit depressing.0 -
Have just looked on Ebay at these vouchers being sold - not sure what to say! Be a pain if these are withdrawn before people received them in the post.
Also can't believe that someone paid £9.50 for a headphone hat that was on the Freebie board - guess that's why I'm never going to be rich! I really must stop giving stuff to people!GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000
