I managed to get two more TD freebies at lunchtime :)

Can someone tell me, are you buying something eachtime you go for a TD freebie or are you just going to the till with the one TD item? Also, I cant take 3 TD items and 3 coupons to the till at the same time can i? LOL It would save time LOL

    Thanks

I take something with me each time..usually something i am getting anyway or my son a pck of sweets to keep him occupied while I am shopping..I tend to use different tills with the vouchers. It's not as if I am doing anything wrong with the vouchers as it's boots who supplied them..off to boots in a minutes for some bargains hopefully
  • I had a lovely email back from Boots today regarding a complaint I made, they are gonna send me a giftcard, yay!!!!

Right so, I totally understand the TD voucher things but am I missing something about the No7 gift sets? How can I get three sets for £2.50? I have read through the last pages but I don't get it, any ideas??

It is a Christmas one and costs £4.50, so its only free if you have got a £5 No7 voucher for spending £10

There are several gift sets. In my store today there were little black ones with a lippy and mascara for £2.50 each= one £5 voucher. They don't go 3 for 2. However, there are also £3 summer nail polish pink packs, and £4 french polish pink packs, that do scan 3 for 2, so 3 for £1 plus voucher or £3 plus voucher. I think.

Hi Jenk - I take 3 TD items and 3 vouchers to a till and just ask for them all to be put through as seperate transactions, haven't had any problems so far.

Hi Purplegirl - the pink No 7 summer collections/gift sets are still being put through the tills as 3 for 2 even though they are reduced, yesterday I bought 3 sets of No 7 nail polishes (pink curved box, 4 bottles of polish) that were reduced from £6.00 to £3.00, so 3 x £3.00 = £9.00 less one pack - £3.00 = £6.00, then I used the £5.00 No 7 voucher given when I'd previously spent over £10.00, so only paid £1.00. I assume that the people paying £2.50 are doing something similar but with different sets.

Hi Lisa - No 7 highlighting powder from Christmas special make up was reduced to half price in most stores, so you could use your £5.00 No 7 voucher to get it for free. Or the 3 for 2 still worked on this Christmas range (though not on black boxed No 7 sets) even though it's all reduced, so item would be free if you bought three things depending on their value.

    Hope this helps everyone!
GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£400

I was in Boots in Lisburn (NI) today and they have the DR at half price with a good selection of items at £5 and £6 so they are effectively free or £1. I also used the £1 voucher for Boots Essential Aromatheraphy on some of the reduced Christmas packs. I just love these bargains!!!!

    Hope you get it aliasojo-
This is Mrs lds's fab find I think-
Using the £1 coupon from the purple leaflet, de-stressing- this candle has a SEL of £1.49 but scans at 74p.
It was on the bottom shelf of the aromatics range, nowhere near Christmas stuff, orange and bergamot essential aromatherapy 'blissful' candle. It is yellow, rectangular and about 4inches by 1 inch with a silver wrapper.I've just lit it and can confirm that it is ' A truly feminine blend of orange blossom and bergamot essential oils, to bring about a sense of bliss and joy to the mind.'
Although I also think it is a tiny bit like the smell of orange kitchen 'Flash' spray. Not that that's a bad thing...
