Amanda and Scotishf - East Kilbride is one of my favourite haunts as well always wondering if there'r other MSE'rs lurking about, although I have to admit I also went into Paisley branch this morning - bit worried I'm getting addicted tho!! I have to pick something up at Braehead tomorrow and trying to persuade myself to park at the Argos end rather than Boots end ... but I know I'm just avoiding the inevitable

amanda40 wrote:At my local store in East Kilbride - the No 7 christmas gift sets would not go through as 3 for 2, I also tried to use my £5 No7 voucher for the pink stripey box gift set ( summer one £7.50) didn't work so tried it on a £5.50 Suncare starter it but didn't work onthat either - not too worry will use it later in the week. I think both our boots are fed up seeing me now - Work pals gave me £140 to spend for them - Boot is jam packed - put it all through in £10 multiples to take advantage of the 75 points for a £10 spend, and £5 No 7 Voucher - so as you can guess I was very popular with the other customers!!!! - Not, one woman marched up when I was finishing putting it all ina trolley ( and trying to balance it all on) and said ' Well I suppose that Christmas for you all sorted for next year!
I was at the till for about 30 minutes right enough - but didn't have the nerve to pick up any TD products - Other visit required I think!!
Hi amanda40
I got a £5 off No7 voucher today, if you read the back it does say not redeemable against No7 sun care, electrical and mix 'n' match gift sets. I was a bit dissappointed to!! I wanted to get a gift set 2!Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070 -
Looked at the DR stuff today and saw the skincare set with a price below it of £8.49 and BOGOF so took the last 2 sets to the cashdesk and it came up as £14.99. Queried the price and the SA asked me to show her where I'd got it from.
She said that she couldn't see an actual price on the shelf for it so I could have them for £8.49, handed over the £5 voucher and the 300 extra points on DR from a mailshot so effectively got £30 of stuff for 49p:)0 -
Boots in Newport town centre has the DR stuff at half price and BOGOF - I've gotten eight products today with only four vouchers. The handcare giftsets haven't been reduced but are BOGOF. I ended up getting £78 worth of the stuff for 25p!
There's loads left and lots of booklets left in the stand too. The SA's had never seen the vouchers when I went in today - I'm hardly the only MSE'r in Newport, am I?Sealed Pot Challenge - member 1109:j0 -
Hi guys
Just to let you know that I had the 50 points off the shampoo which is bogof at £1.29p tonight in the Leicester branch. I tried using 2 after all I had 2 in my basket and it worked. So 105 points for £1.29p spent on shampoo. I did manage to get a couple of Td products for free but sadly no pure vouchers for me

Thought some of you might like to know that in Beverley Boots today there were loads of leaflets and the TD display had been completely restocked! Kingswood Boots had leaflets and plenty of TD but the DR shelf was pretty sparse, hopefully they will restock too!:A OFFICIAL Boots Tart :A and member of the PAH! club :rotfl:

frisbee wrote:Popped into boots tonight and picked up the tony & guy wax stick and the heat spray 2 for £7 then used the voucher in the leaflet which brought it down to £5.50, got a few other bits to make it upto £10, got 75 extra points and £5 no7 voucher. I used the last of my points yesterday on the reduced xmas gifts and got loads of stuff, so i need to start building up my points again now for next christmas, dont think it will be too hard thanks to everyone on here.
What voucher did you use to reduce the price of the toni and guy items?

I think this was mentioned somewhere higher up in the thread but my eyes are hurting from scanning through it.... :
The 300 point vouchers for No7 (insert specific range name here, I can't remmeber) from the AC machines are working with other No 7 stuff - I can only vouch for the No7 gift sets (currently the small nail varnish/lipstick ones are marked £3 Shelf edge, but scan at £2.50) = pay £2.50 for the gift set, get 310 points
I went at a quiet time and got a good few. Went back to counter and the SA told me to go to the photo desk for my second batch. There, the manager/supervisor told me they're only valid for the range on the voucher. It seemed she over-ruled the almighty computer that runs Boots. Never mind, I told a couple of people in the store who were buying just the one set, 'pay it forward' and all thatFunny, seeing as the original SA missed some vouchers while scanning them through, and her supervisor at that end of the store can and put the points on my card no questions asked! On my way out there was some staff in a mini meeting near and AC machine, thinking of how they can stop people from using the vouchers......

when i was in boots the other day i was told i could only use one advantage card coupon per transaction which in effect meant if i wanted the points on everyday indugence product i could not use the spend £10 get 75 points one as well. is this correct or did i get the wrong information. i have had a boots card for a long time but it is only through finding this site that i have started to check out the advantage card machine.
i dont know if everyone realises that you can top up mobile phones. i have topped my duaghters up 3 times with £10 each time and got the extra points and the no 7 voucher too!
also can anyone tell me if i have a everyday indulgence voucher for 150 extra points, is it 1 coupon per product or if i buy 8 bottles do i get 8 x 150 points???Just about to give up!0
