I wanted a body buffer set, which was £5.50 and they siad that it was sun protection and the till said I couldn't have it. I argued that if I used it as sun protection I would have sunburn and skin cancer quicker than you could say didly squat, so eventually they gave in, but they wouldn't let me have them on the BOGOF offer.
If it is not from the sunless tanning range then they where correct, as the T&C's on the back of the No7 voucher is for cosmetics, skin care and also sunless tanning. NOT for any other range in the No7 range including sun protect.
I assume the body buffer set is in classed as the sun protection range as you are getting the body ready for a tan. So it was not allowed. No different then getting ready for putting on a fake tan. The skin needs to buffed and smooth.
I know I don't make the rules but that is what they are.
I got a product from the sunless tanning range and the SA said I am not sure it will got through. I said it does say it is for the sunless tanning range on the back and I got it for £1.

Hi all,
One for all you new(ish) mum's out there! Went into my local Boots (Beverley) to spend my No7 voucher and pick up aTD eye cream and came out with a bag full of baby goodies too!
They had Heinz powdered baby foods for £1.05 (half price) dated Jan 2007, Sun blinds for the car @ £1.05 each, Little Me Baby Organics Splash in the Bath Bubbles further reduced to £1.00 and best of all they had Avent Must Haves Gift Sets reduced from £10.00 to £2.50 (both the Baby and Future Mother sets), a great way to try the products and ideal for small babies as you don't need much!! I also picked up a Disney first brush and comb set for £1.85. Very pleased to say the least!
They seem to have a great deal of baby stuff in the clearance section including other foods, portable potties, feeding equipment etc. I don't know if this is just my store or if it's nationwide.

Does anybody know if you can combine the following two vouchers to get total of £8 off?
On the £5 NO7 voucher it says I can redeem it against no 7 skincare and there is a picture on the front of the voucher for NO 7 uplifting day/eye cream
and
in the yellow look great leaflet there is a voucher for £3 off the NO7 uplifting skincare
Really would like to know if this would be ok to use both as I would die of embarassement if it didn't work!
thanks
BTW what on earth is SEL- have seen this on this thread several times

Ah well, personally I think its skincare, I worked on that basis because Sun Protection and Body Buff were classed as two different things on a big sign. It was when I pointed this out to her that she backed down.0 -

I agree with you if it is part of the No7 range you should get £5 off no matter if it is makeup, skin care or even sun cream.
I was just quoting the T&C's on the back of the voucher. It made no sense to me why I could getting a tanning product but no sun tan protection. Not that I need any. As I got a freebie sun tan lotion from parenting club.
But I assuming that is how they have split up the ranges why well only they know.

just a quick question about the 300 ac voucher. if u dont buy the product its referring to (sorry cant remember wot specific no 7 products its for) dont the sales assistants get really shirty ie "u havent bought that product so i aint giving u the points"
its just that everytime i go to the counter i always seem to get the Sa's that read all the detail on the ac vouchers and i couldnt stand it if they got the upper hand :rotfl:
hope this makes some sense as i'm trying to type, think and keep an 8 month old amused at the same time!""mich_city wrote:I used it recently for another product other than the range stated on voucher.. used £5 off No. 7 voucher in same transaction.. went thru no problem! kicked myself as could have put mega points on my card with the No.7 items I've bought recently! No joy today.. got a SA that scrutinsed the 300 points No.7 voucher and wouldn't let me use it for a different item than that stated.. you win some, you lose some I guess!
Is it just me or does anyone else feel they you being looked at like your commiting an offence by buying any of the TD/DR products?.. getting a bit fed up of surly SA's! :mad:0 -
I asked a SA in my local Boots if they had any more TD toner and she kindly went out the back and found me one. I don't know that they are deliberately keeping them back as they seem to be moving stock around the store at the moment. Again, the EA voucher worked on 2 items for me, reducing them each by £1 (to 49p each). Boots are doing OK out of me really as each time I go in there I buy something else anyway (like tomorrow's lunch, Shapers of course to get the 50p off!). Tonight I also received a £5 No 7 voucher, which was good as it is the last day to get them.
I do feel pretty well stocked up with presents for people. It is really nice knowing that I have so many lovely items to put together gift bags or baskets...as well as being able to keep hand cream in several locations, meaning that I am more likely to use it often!0 -
