I picked up a couple of DR items this morning at Middlebrook. The lovely SA asked if I had a voucher for them, as she could get me one if I didn't. Which, of course, I did.
I love going to Middlebrook - this particular SA said she hates it when people don't use the AC machine, and she knows they're not getting the best deal they could.
Unfortunately, got some TD hand cream yesterday. Only, when I got it home noticed it's obviously a tester, as it's not in a box, and it's 2/3rds empty!!! Question is, can I be bothered to take it back?

We only have little boots in the 50 miles around me - 3 stores. Have done all of them a few times now - not many mse's in West Wales....plenty of leaflets and stock everytime. I travelled 50 miles to Swansea to try the large boots - as well as other shopping im not that much of a boots addict (promise) and they had plenty of stock too. Even a guy with a stand and table outside boots handing them out to passers by!
Anyway my most local boots (Haverfordwest) they have Time Delay products which i believe to be old stock (some boxes are silver and some are black) These have been reduced to £2-£3 and are hidden on a clearence shelf far from the TD stand. Have taken advantage and used 1 voucher for 2 products sometimes. I first spotted them last week - took the 2 that were there. today there were 3, all different for £2.45. 3 for 2 and £5 voucher meant i got 3 for free.

That is really nice to see staff who care and want the customers to get the best deals they can.
That is what the AC machine is there for to give you offers.
All the staff in the shops I have used while redeeming the voucher have either not said a word or said what a great bargain you got there.
Yesterday while in one pondering what to spend my No7 voucher on I got asked twice if they could help me.
As I have said before most of the staff around here seem to not really know about the TD vouchers. My local is only small but there are enough different staff so I don't get twigged. But then I get husband in on the act as well. And he has bought me some TD delay and used a No7 vocuher to get me pressies. So I am like :j . I get good pressies and it costs him less.
I did notice one thing I printed out an AC machine voucher for hair science as that is BOGOF and it said on the bottom only one voucher to be used in conjunction with the BOGOF so looks like they are cottoning on to what we are doing

Darlington branch update - Found that the Aromatherapy voucher does work by taking £1 off each item you put through, walked away with 4 candles for free this afternoon.
Also found a tube of TD hand cream hiding in with other moisturisers so grabbed that along with a tube of Apricot, Grape & Fig Face Mask from the Mediterranean range which was down to 50p.
Ran into a friend in town who was amazed at all these bargains so I was nice and gave her a candle and a couple of vouchers.0 -
Bought a No7 self tanning kit today reduced to £6. My favourite young SA very kindly put the 300pt No7 AC voucher through too.....so £2 to take it away!

bedshaped wrote:Hi all - went to the Doctors today with DD, our Surgery has a little Boots attached to the surgery, they dont sell anything except medicine/medical aids etc but had loads of the Change 1 thing booklets so grabbed a few more of the yellow ones - Just thought I would mention it in case anyone else has a little Boots like this but has no vouchers, so that they can try it too!!
Could always just pop in to get a packet of paracetamol as an excuse to check
PS if anyone hasnt got vouchers and wants some - PM me as I have spare ones now (thanks to getting these today) and I would be happy to send them on if you send me an SAE
I've also nominated you for Post of the Month for your Boots Time Delay posts on the Grabbit and Freebies Boards.
Good Luck! You deserve it!chunky0 -
Not a very happy bunny today, not one shop assistant would take more than one of the change vouchers even when I had bought a selection of stuff and there was no reduced No7 stuff to be had anywhereOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

I went into Boots today and noticed Botanics on BOGOF.
Found a voucher in my bag from a mailing from them giving me a free Botanics day cream with another botanics facial product. I bought a facial wash and shoved the day cream into my basket too.
Got to the check out and handed over the face wash then the day cream. (Had other items that went through too - including a TD Freebie and other stuff).
Basically, I got the two botanics items for free (BOGOF and a voucher), the TD item for free (voucher) and I only had to pay for my Meal Deal, (also had a voucher for 75 extra points (from the mailing) & another one for 50 extra points (from the Magazine).
Spent just over £2.00 and got 75 extra points for all that stuff.
Do Boots make any money at all? What?
Where?
Ahhhh, got it!!0
