Boots Grabbit Bargains Thread part 4 - post your finds here

I went to the Boots in Folkestone and they had refilled the leaflet stand!!!! There I was thinking that they had removed them. It seems to me that some people are going to this particular store every day and taking all the items from TD under five pounds. An SA told me that they refill it every morning and by 10am it has all gone :eek: I have been in three times now at around 1pm and have not found anything to use my vouchers on. I did however look over at the hand cream section and I finally managed to get two hand creams. I love hand cream so I am very pleased. I feel a little upset though that it seems that a few people are taking the mickey a but at this store. The only time I have ever managed to get other items I took three things. The SA in Folkestone implied that a few people were simply clearing the shelves every day :mad:

Anyway I'm going to Canterbury tomorrow for an interview so I might be able to get a face scrub there and a few wipes maybe? Thats if the naughty so and so from Folkestone isn't doing a tour of all the Boots within a twenty mile radius!!!

same here, somebody clears the whole leaflet stock in the morning so nobody else has a chance :-(

Hi does anybody know if the £5 no7 voucher promotion has ended, might be worth a trip into town if it is still available.

I believe that today is the last day to get a voucher but you have until 31st of this month to spend it.

Is it true that you can't you the £5 off voucher and pay the balance with your points? I haven't had my advantage card very long so this is new to me. I tried to purchase the day cream at £9.50 used the £5 off with £4.50 to pay but the SA would not take this with my 500 points that I have accumulated.

That's correct you can only use full points on advantage card to pay for an item

I had problems trying to use my number 7 voucher in boots today.

I wanted a body buffer set, which was £5.50 and they siad that it was sun protection and the till said I couldn't have it. I argued that if I used it as sun protection I would have sunburn and skin cancer quicker than you could say didly squat, so eventually they gave in, but they wouldn't let me have them on the BOGOF offer.

Not impressed tbh, has made me realise I am going to take the mick with the offers now and get all i can for free.

Finally got 2 Packs of Time Delay wipes in Boots York today, i was going to get another 2 for my sisters when i went back an hour later but somebody had fleeced them, looked in the other 2 Boots and nothiung but did get some leaflets.

AT LAST !!!!
