Just sent my lad (and 2 mates) off to Boots with 3 vouchers and orders to not mess up! I'm not confident I have to say.
Also asked him to pick up more leaflets, especially since they may be withdrawing them next week. Was only a matter of time though wasn't it?
I'm wondering how much of a good idea it was though.......scruffy (sorry 'fashionable' ) lads wandering round Boots with vouchers might just be an attraction for the security guard. If they can make grown adults feel bad, then teenagers will be an even easier target.
Still haven't got a candle, lol......must be few and far between up our end.Herman - MP for all!0 -
hi everyone,
this is my first post on here!
thanks very much for this post
Me and my mum have been getting a few here and there!
In the Huntingdon store- there are some leaflets left but no products £5
In the St Ives store- there a few leaflets but no products under £5
In the St Neots store- there are a few leaflets left and a few products under £5
I can't find any aromatherapy candles in any of those stores and none of the aromatherapy range are reduced! which i'm very sad about!
The christmas things are reduced but still quite high prices, not as low as some of you seem to be getting them!!!

I find this strange that not all goods are marked down the at the same time all over the country.
As they have some of the shampoo sets with a label on saying £10 in my local little boots. And I am sure that I have seen them in other stores and even on-line at £6.66.
And some stuff was not even marked down. I bought a chocolate fondue set and asked for a price check before it went through the tills and it came up full price of £14. Another SA close buy said it if it is christmas stock then half price. But then she said it might be valentines stock. What down in the clearance christmas section. Got if for £7 even though lots of other stock had 75% off there prices.
And half the Bogof's in my local boots don't even have labels on. I only know it is because I look at the website.
Ho hum should not complain have had a few freebies now.

Not sure as I only printed one out the other day. But I got the shampoo offer again. And I had already printed one out a few days ago. So used the offer again. Seems rude not to.

Really chuffed - been to 5 different Boots to collect items.
Really wanted TD hand cream as I have the worlds driest hands but didn't find any.....
Still yesterday I got 1 pack of TD facial wipes
Then today, I went to Nottingham Boots on Riverside retail park and picked up £60 odd quids worth of goods for £12 not as good as some I know bu i'm well chuffed.
I picked up:-
DR Hand balm and DR hand cream BOGOF and £5 off = £4
DR Hand balm and DR Blemish stuff BOGOF and £5 off = £4
Royal Jelly hand cream and soap dispenser in holder should of been £7 = £1.75
Then got 2 toothbrushes BOGOF, i'm well chuffed but not sure OH will be when he gets homeIt's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice0 -

The hair/shampoo sets are down to £5 in our biggest local , not sure on the one in town though, but the bottles are only small.
I did invest in the 'red' range though, my hubby has a fit over the price of conditioner lol0 -
I get annoyed as i too have noticed that some people are getting really good bargins, yet when I went in my local Boots yesterday I picked up a couple of the items mentioned and they were not reduced further as other people have got.
It should be the same whereever you live. :mad:0 -

I agree. I saw on here about the christmas stock being reduced again so went to a local boots. And they where just in the process of doing it. Got a couple of good bargain there.
But went a bit further the next day to an even bigger boots in a bigger town and they had hardly anything marked down . I did not want to do loads of price checks just to see what the real price was.
Also bogof's should be marked properly as well. if you don't have access to the internet and the signs are not up how do you know. Unless a very kind SA points it out to you.
