brummiebird443 wrote:Hi there, could u please tell me what 300 AC machine voucher u're using?
thanks for providing a breakdown of how you are using the vouchers, i'm going to give it a go tomorrow!!!
Hi in the boots advantage machine you get offered 300 points when you buy the new no7 skin concentrates range, seems to work with all no7 products but i think it also depends on the sa, i went to a young lad who wouldnt know one no7 from the next, bless him.0 -
glitter wrote:hi did you just give the one voucher or 2?
did you pay £4 for both the items?
sorry bit confused!!!!
Sorry, I paid £4 for both the items and used 2 of the £1.50 vouchers out of the back of the 'Change One Thing' leaflets to get them at this price.
I think you may need to only hand over 1 coupon to get 2 x £1.50 off though as SA scanned one and the second one wouldnt scan so she added it on manually. When I looked at my receipt it HAD taken £1.50 off each item PLUS SA had taken an extra £1.50 off! So I actually ended up getting both products for £2.50!!!
I'm fairly sure you only need one of the £1.50 coupons but cut out 2 and hand them both over just incase!
Had a good shop yesterday actually as SA added on my 300 points voucher for over £35 spend, even though I only spent £33- didnt realise until I had left though.
Not much at the AC machine for me though just more Alternatives range vouchers and 50 points off boots haircare and they let me use 2 of them yesterday so £2.58 worth of shampoo/conditioner for 29P!! Darn it shouldve got more....0 -
I am too excited about going to Boots this afternoon, how sad is that????
I really can't wait, the last time I went they didn't have anything under £5 so i'm keeping my fingers crossed.
philsu please complain about your experience. I had a similar experience on new years eve in the Canterbury store, the basic idea was that there was a bogof sign in the wrong place and the wording made it sound like gift sets were now included as the 3 4 2 was no longer on. They didn't go through, supervisor was very rude to me  I asked to speak to manager, got a deputy manager who backed up supervisor though they were clearly wrong. I was reduced to tears  (and this is not an easy thing for someone to do) and left without all thge items. I used their website and sent in a detailed complaint. Had a very appologetic reply and a phone call. I had to describe the members to staff to customer services and the manager will be taking disiplinary action against them. I am also getting a £10 giftcard, yay! My mum doesn't think that is enough but I am happy that they took me seriously! If we don't complain then they will just carry on being nasty and making up their own rules. Let us know if you decide to do it0 -

Now that is very interesting. They must have made a change to the till software since september.
As in September I got the voucher for the 100 points for the toothpaste out the AD machines. So got it sent husband through first with the voucher, money and one of the products. And the SA a nice young girl but being a sat afternoon it was getting very busy in there. She managed to scan the toothpaste 100 points voucher twice and we only had one product. And it gave me 200 points.
And I am sure that someone else said in the last week or so they have used two of the boots shampoo points vouchers as the product is on bogof.

Forgot to mention I got another pack of wipes for free this morning. But I did have to buy certain items this morning and they where on Bogof so according to the my reciept I saved £4.99. Yeah right. Virtual money as I would never have bought them at £4 anyway.
When I show husband he went  . I did say that called to me from the shelf. Going get me get me I am free. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Only under £5 items where wipes and no lip plumper. Arghhhhhhhhhh wanted that need to make my lips look like I have been smacked in the face with a kipper :rotfl:

I think you can use more than one of the Advantage Machine vouchers, but such as the No7 vouchers and TD vouchers you can only use one of each per transaction.0 -
The leappad at the East Kilbride store is still £12.50 - I mentioned to the sa that it was £6.50 elsewhere but he just looked at me as if I was mad!!No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:

chunky_munky wrote:I got these yesterday - T&G X-Wax Stick £8.99 and T&G Tame It Serum £7.99
They are on offer at 2 for £7.00
I handed in one Save £1.50 voucher and the till took off 2x £1.50 = £3.00
Therefore making them £4.00 for both and 16 AC points.

I got the wax stick and the heat defence spray, only had £1.50 knocked off, i think you only get £3 knocked off if you buy the 2 products mentioned on the voucher.0
