PHILSU.......I am disgusted by the way you were treated. I have tried about 8 different boots and never had a problem using 5 vouchers at a time. If you live near me Norfolk I would go in store with you and make muliple purchases(free).
Ref to CS desk....I have never seen one in any boots0 -

philsu wrote:Really upset in Boots today, 1st time tried to get DR stuff & forgot about doing 2 diff transactions, had bought quite a bit , gave SA 2 vouchers for DR & 1 No 7 voucher, she put eveything through then said you can only use 1 of them, asked if she could take off 2 DR's & put through seperately assistant was really horrible, said was only 1 per customer, said I hadn't realised & one set for mum (true) she said she couldn't so said I didn't want them, she tried to take off & could'nt so was getting more annoyed at me sighing loudly & shaking head, finally said would have to start all over again, all this while huge queue - soooo!! embarassed. Did sell me both lots of DR in end but I had put some more booklets on counter, she said you can't have those, I told you only 1 per customer & took them off me. I rushed out so upset then looked at receipt to see had been overcharged for something, went back in thought I would go to another SA, as I walked in SA was there talking about me!!!! Said she had all these (6) and proceeded to say things about me. I was in tears, went to another SA who was really really nice , told her what had happened & she wanted to tell manager - wouldn't let her though & said she hadn't been told only 1 per customer & had taken some for daughter day before. Sorry to go on but felt had to share this as so upset. Wonder if bargains are worth it but hey tomorrows another day!
Same thing happened to me! I made the SA write down her name (who was actually a Team Manager), and the store number and went home and called Boots Customer Service. Customer Service got back to me a few hours later and said that they had contacted the store, the Manager and the Team Manager and said that I was completly in the right and that I could go there and use as many coupons as I wanted, and that the Team Manager was in the wrong and that it was a "training issue" - that the Team Manager was not aware of the store's policies... So! Go and make your call! And then go back and hand over a new stack of coupons!I :heart2: Waitrose0 -
nice one ultracheap...I was humiliated when the offer was on for the pink gift bags and we were getting 100 points for a 37p bag..I think it was 37p..well whenever I go into Boots at Leeds I get what I need then rush out..I feel like a criminal when I go in there after I was confronted by the manager..I saw him on thursday when I was getting my £6.25 leapad and the alarm went off as they had not swiped it across their till or whatever they do...It is upsetting when they are having a go and you know you have done nothing wrong....I daren't get any TD or DR at leeds.....I know it's silly but I feel like I am being watched when i go in there....0

Today I bought T&G Serum £8.99 and Wax £7.99 on offer at 2 for £7.
Used the voucher out of the back of the yellow 'Change One Thing' book for £1.50 off each item = £3 off, making it both items for £4 plus AC points.
Bargain!
hi did you just give the one voucher or 2?
did you pay £4 for both the items?
sorry bit confused!!!!No one puts baby in the corner.0 -
i got some a reduced DR rescue balm free with the voucher & 300 points on DR from a mailing - paid 99p for congestion relief tablets so didn't look too bad. can't believe i got points too! doesn't say anything about DR being BOGOF though. don't think there are any MSErs in dewsbury as loads of leaflets & TD stuff - have been advising customers looking at the range to get a leaflet though & given some to mums at playgroup etc so might not last! have enough to make up a few bags for church coffee morning to sell already so they will be happy.Cleaning the house while children are growing is like shovelling snow when it's still snowing!0

Was told one per customer at Locking Castle, next time will mention that Boots Customer Service say it's okay!
Did get some wipes in Weston High Street (and also got a body spray - marked £1.00, went through at 50p - as there were no candles left, and used voucher in lilac booklet so got if for free) and there were no problems there on main checkouts. But when I went to the pharmacy the lady said I couldn't have the items for free, Boots don't allow that! Will try again later today - ho hum!GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

They are on offer at 2 for £7.00
I handed in one Save £1.50 voucher and the till took off 2x £1.50 = £3.00
Therefore making them £4.00 for both and 16 AC points.
