MrsBluebear: Go girl! Go girl!! Goooooo Giiiiiiiiiiiirl!!! You have just grown the biggest pair of b***s in the world! I absolutely agree with the advice given that you should comment to HO on how helpful the SA was, and say that their action has restored your faith in Boots.
But do make sure that you very carefully check that you're not incurring any bank charges, due to CS dreadful errors. Cos if you do, it's unlikely that the accrued points would compensate - and why should they? You've had enough stress to last you a lifetime, and, IMHO, that's what the points have been awarded for.
But you have handled this so well, and I'm so glad that everyone was able to help you, and give you the confidence. Well done! Gold Star!!!!
PS - After all this, I hope your friend likes his/her present!0 -

sorry, not very clear; on .com the half price offer is still working so each razor is £3.99, but the 342 bit is no longer working.0 -

Yes, I am going to inform Store Manager of lovely SAs behaviour too. He was so lovely, and I think if the decision had of been his, he would have sorted the matter out in about 2 seconds.
I am going to keep my eye on my account like a hawk, 1) to make sure the refund ACTUALLY does go in, and 2) to make sure of any charges, so that if there are any I can forward them to CS with a nice letter

This has nothing to do with Boots, so please read on if it's going to annoy you, but I don't know where else to post it:
I think a poster on this thread has a daughter who has fairly recently had spinal surgery. Last night a friend came round cos I was off loading loads of my Boots stash on her for her 2 teenage daughters and their friends for Christmas (She is short of cash and the things were free/nearly free to me so I was happy to give them away) . Her daughter has just been diagnosed with scoliosis(sp?) and needs corrective urgery. If this is what the poster from this thread has experience of, could they please PM me - I'd like to find out what I can to help my friend and her daughter.

Cheeky!
Well, with the Fusion Power, you should be gently stroking the razor over the skin (no need to apply firm pressure) while stretching the skin. Rinse the blade after every stroke.
If you get lots of spots after shaving (which will bleed next time), you may have an acne-like skin infection (name escapes me) and a trip to the doc for some antibiotics is needed.
Poor thing - carpet burn can be evil.
Damn! How did you know about the carpet burn? Though I saw someone peeking through the window the other night! Must have been you. LOL.
Spent £50 worth of points today, miraculously there was an extra 1000 points on my card today. Lucky me.
Apologies to all. It was not SKIN WISDOM, it was SKIN DOCTORS. Did not work for me today with my BLUE, worked for my colleague the other day even though you can't actually get £5 off that brand. How strange.
SKIBSTER, thanks for the advice. I think I will get skincare expert BHAM DAVE to help me out.
The Tesco voucher tomorrow is meant to be £3! That's what I read.
Gonna bounce into Boots again for some more bargains. Have fun all.0 -

Off topic alert..............................
Saw on M & S website a free GWP WYS £20 on skincare/cosmetics., but no details of what you get ! Tried a dummy order but it did not add anything to my basket free even when I had lots of makeup in it! Has anyone tried this or seen the freebie?0 -
