  • Fed up with boots, i finally made a complaint about the store that i have ongoing problems with nearly four weeks ago, waited nearly two weeks for them to get back to me, hear nothing so made a call to them, to be told the person that was dealing with it was not in work till the next week, so waited another week and called again, to find nothing had been done about it, spoke to someone senior who told me that i would need to speak to the store manager about it and he would get the store manager to phone me, that was over a week ago now, not hear anything from the store. Phoned boots again to be told they had spoken to the store and he said that he was putting a complaint in for me and that a team would be looking in to it, i asked how much longer it was going to take with it taking nearly four weeks. He asked what i wanted told him just that the staff treat me better than they do, he said that he would speak to the store and get the manager to ring me. I don't hold out much hope that the manager will ring me, since they have had over a week. I don't know what to do now.

    Spoken to store manager who told me that they had tried phoning me but not left a message. They are going to speak to the staff involved.

    Did CS give you points as compensation? I complained when I saw the SA bin one of the random surveys. I didn't challenge it in the shop - long queue and didn't want to hold everyone up - but phoned CS later and was given 500 points.

I can't find a cancel button!

    Only 500 extra points? If your order is over £75 you could have got 750 extra points or 10% off the total with codes!!

    Only 500 extra points? If your order is over £75 you could have got 750 extra points or 10% off the total with codes!!

    I tried a code for 750 pts & it said that the code was case sensative! So I was happy when the 500 xtra points was excepted! I have just got to get throught to Customer services now :o

    You have to ask. I specifically asked what they were going to offer as recompense.

    I had a nice little surprise in the post this morning. I placed a sub for top sante magazine with www.greatmagazines.co.uk and they sent me a FREE RoC Dermabrasion kit worth over £61:j I love roc too:D

    I have just spoken to CS & they said you can't cancel an online order! Is this true? She said I would have to return the parcel by post or take it into a Boots store! Will they take back the points?

    Just another episode on my boots.com order for 63 x 6 smoothies.....
    1. supposed to recieve 21 each, got mismatch of them.... especially peach with 12/08 date on
    2. rang cs advised me will send 16 of others free
    3. 2 rouge ones turned up form somewhere
    4. cancelled another order only refunded third of them had 2 ring again
    5. rang not rcvd my 16 free, advised was cancelled will resend (rcvd)
    6. advised send peach bak as date 12/08 replace 20 paks
    7. no replacement yet, alhough did rcv a refund for 8 other flavor??????
    8. rng - oh no - yes - oh no- yes
    they have lost them???????
    9. send in copy return reciept given by po
    10. please say a prayer for me its been 2 months now and its getting worse........

    help....

    although cant complain yet i rcvd 18 paks free and a refund for 8?? at 50% off not 50% and 3 4 2 paid £75 got 25 in points

  • I have a make-up pallette (chilli-pepper) which I purchased as a gift for myself but im now having wobbles about the amount ive spent recently :o will i be able to take it back for a credit/gift card as the make up part of it is still sealed ?? I ordered it from .com and would really like some credit to use for the sale.

    Not too sure as it'll be classed as cosmetics - I've only had nothing but untold hassle when I've tried to exchange cosmetics (even though it was just because they stacked the wrong colour on the shelf & it was still sealed!) :rolleyes:
    Check the back of your receipt though for the terms on cosmetics :)
