Who exactly has banned you & how has the ban been communicated to you.
Sorry, but for now I'm just a little sceptical of this.
  • I'd be inclined to go back and park there, just to see what they do....

Don't know the car park situation cos I wasn't driving but its a Euro car park in Manchester. Your guess is as good as mine as to how they could enforce the ban but like any seller I'm sure they're entitled to refuse to serve you.

How can they possibly get away with banning a car, don't be daft, any alleged contract is only with the driver so they cannot ban a car! What if you sold it?! I am sorry this is surely a figment of your imagination.

Euro Car Parks don't do anything except send letters, I have mine right here. I still park in the same car park regularly. They do NOT ban people, their Parking Pataweyo goons have no info on who has paid a bogus ticket or not!

  • Hi, I could really do with someone's help with my situation. Here it is...

To my shock, last Saturday, I received a parking fine through the post. I hadn't had any tickets put on my car and realised I had been caught on CCTV. I'd parked on double yellow line, whilst driving to work, in my local High St. It wasn't busy and I wasn't holding any traffic up, as I dashed into the sweet shop for, literally, 30 seconds. Th contravention took place on 25/10/10 but I didn't receive the letter until 7/11/10. As I was still unaware of the CCTV now being used for parking controls, I also made three other stops, at the same location, on 2/11, 3/11 and 4/11/10, and I have now received three more fines. I am absolutely devastated, as I do not have £200 to pay these fines before the 50% reduction period, especially just before xmas. :(
I would like to know if I could appeal these, especially the last three, due to unfair issue. I have not parked there since receiving the first PCN and would never park there unlawfully again. I have checked to see if there is ample signs to show the CCTV enforcement and it is clearly marked, but I'm sure the signs are very new and we're put up after I'd been caught. I'm sure the enforcement has only been in place over the last month as I've parked there many a time, and never had a problem. Every time I drive down this street, there are always cars parked on these lines, so there will be a lot of shocked people receiving these fines.

    Please help! Thanx!

PTP has given the answer to your query on your thread here:

You need to post pics of your ticket (all pages but no ID details) on your own thread.

  • i was issued a parking penalty notice in newport gwent in october 2010. the ticket was not filed in correctly by the security guard. i appealed on the grounds that any court would not accept this as the proceedure was not followed . appeal upheld. :T
  • Hi there I was wondering if anyone could help me.

I recieved a parking ticket a few months back which I believed I had grounds to appeal on. I wrote back to the Council to which they replied with page upon page of reasons why I should have got the ticket and to say it would be going to an independent ajudicator. Due to the amount of evidence they had compiled ( even though my original appeal still was valid ) I decided to pay the fine in case it got raised again as I cannot afford it at the moment (unemployed)

Just got a letter today from the Independent Ajudicator saying that they have found in my favour and the fine should be cancelled. Now where do I stand as I have already paid, do the council have to give me back the £120 or as I paid does it mean I defaulted an accepted?

    Many thanks .
  • Now that's a conundrum, normally payment is accepted as admission of guilt but as the adjudicator has ruled in you favour then logically council should cough up. Suggest try post on pepipoo.com as well.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
  • Thankyou for the reply. I have also posted this on pepipoo.com aswell how long should I wait on there for a response?

After checking previous letters etc from the council and Parking Adjudicator, the hearing was suppose to be on the 25th September, I did not attend, but the decision has only been made now?

    Cheers
