Gosh lots to catch up on since i last managed to get on!!!! lovely hampers once again all!
im gutted though- had no snow here at all so far this weekend :-(
Same here - just caught up on 10 pages!:p Well done everyone for all the new hampers and welcome to all our new lurkers and posters... I've not done anymore this week on hampers and my spare room still looks like a bomb has hit it with finished hampers and ingredients for future hampers:rolleyes:

My sister may be coming to stay this week but she won't be able to use the spare room that's for sure:eek: :rotfl:

Bye all for now from someone else with a touch of OHD!

For those looking for hampers - my cheapest hampers were from Homebased shallow white squarish ones for £1.49 or Dunelm bamboo oval for £1.99. Have also used Morrisons plastic baskets... Yesterday my local poundstretcher had 25% off whicker baskets... Ikea also do some cheap baskets...

Im worried those plastic basket covered in wrapping paper dont look nice? what do you think(honestly)

Also i have just realized i have way more hampers too do then i originally thought!

I have made two so far(the ones i posted)

I need one for a 4 year old girl i hardly see (the half sister of the little boys hamper i made) So im hoping to do her a mini one for under £5.00

I need to do all together 17 hampers :O but then again two hampers for under £10.00 if i continue that way i should be able to do them for under £100.. hopefully

  • Was in boots today and saw the £5 packs of chocolate stirrers for dipping stirring hot choc etc. Decided to make my own with the help of some mini ice cube trays from wilkinsons £1, abar of the 39p swiss choc from home bargains and some free stirrers from macdonalds ( i asked nicely):)

    Here is boots £5 version:

The truffles are easy and at ASDA they have some natural flavours for cakes. One drop in the mixture and you can make different flavours. I need to look up the recipe again as I have lost it. They are very easy to make though and very very very yummy.
