Do you have a Hobbycraft near you? Their prices can sometimes be quite steep (not always) but it can be a good place to go and look, find something you like and them look around for the same but cheaper.

I know Hobbycraft among other places have had deals on Papermania scrapbooking albums (some come with papers and embellishments to get you started straight away)... http://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/productlist.asp?CatID=69&BCat=21,69&rootcatid=21&Brand=&a=resetsearch
    Same/similar albums here...

ebay can be a good place to look for albums.

I work in hobbycraft and the scrapbook deal is really really good
we are selling so many of them
    well worth the money
although like you say it can be expensive we do have so many bits and pieces that are good value for money
mind you if you decide to make a visit be warned you'll be there all day lol
  • thanks Rainmac
when you buy a kit does the album come with it
and does it have the pages already in :o
you know ready to stick your pics in
    then add embellishments etc

Yes but check what you are buying before you do ;). These Papermania kits for e.g. come with an album, papers and embellishments. You stick your photos and embellishments on the papers and then slide them into the protective sleeves in the album.

    Does that make sense???

  • Hi all, wondered if I could trouble any of you for any ideas.. Planning on doing my mum a Green & Blacks hamper for her birthday - I managed to get the book everyone's been talking about when it was free with buying two bars of their chocolate a few weeks back. I know they make two types of biscuit/flapjack, hot chocolate, chocolate spread and icecream - does anyone know of anything else food or merchandise wise, or any deals on any of them at all?

Also, lovely hampers everyone! I'm not a cat person, but that was a seriously cute one!
  • oh and thanks for that do craft link
they apparantly stock it in the Range
so will visit there too and have a look

Sorry I don't know but can I be cheeky and ask what you are putting in your mum's hamper - where to you get the other Green&Black products from, Tescos or Sainsburys??

I want to give a copy of the book to a friend who loves the mint G&B but wasn't sure what else to put with it.

    Thanks
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000
