Hi,
Great hamper miss*whisper
This might help someone doing a chocolate hamper as a gift. I picked 2 copies of this up from my Tescos extra yesterday for a £1.00 each.

Not sure why they were so cheap, but they had a pallet full in the freezer section. I picked up a couple for hampers I will be doing this year, and one is going to a friend who loves Green and Black Chocolate.
HTH
they had these books in Kingston Tesco Milton Keynes yesterday. There were still loads left they were on a top shelf in the book aisle couldn resist picking up two really is a great bargain! x

You could always do it like a scrap book?? Not sure if that's your kind of thing there's loads of Layouts on UKScrappers and can always give you inspiration. Even if you're not that crafty (not sure if you are:rotfl: ) you could buy a scrapbook and use it for a photo album and journalling what happened in each pic along the side?

Hi Everyone
Just wanted to ask you lovely ladies for some inspiration. I am planning to do a 'wedding/honeymoon hamper' as a wedding gift for our friends who are getting married this year. So far I have these ideas:
Plain photo album - to decorate with embellishments in the wedding colours, their names, the date of wedding etc, (already bought)
Flip flops with 'just married' cut out in the bottom (need to get)
Photo mount (for people at wedding to sign & do message & then for couple to put photo in it and frame it with everyone's messages)
Door hanger to make - Bride & Groom - keep out type thing!!
Might do Bride & Groom Sock monkeys!!
Beach Bag or His & Hers towels saying Bride & Groom or Mr & Mrs.... - anyone know anywhere I can get these reasonably priced? So far everywhere I've found is too expensive
Any other ideas?
Don't really want to do champagne glasses or champagne I don't think as thats exactly what we got them for their engagement!!!
Thanks in advance...
Hey Popkins,
I'm doing a similar sort of thing for a very good friend's wedding (want to avoid the champagne and glasses thing too - hoping it might mututate into a his and hers kind of thing) here's a list of what I've got/want to get in the hope it might give you a couple of ideas!
So far;
Free name a star certficate (with free bit taken off) in frame
Dont's for Husbands and Don't for Wives mini books
His and hers TShirts reading - 'Mrs *********' and 'Under New Management' - just going to buy some plain tees and hopefully manage to transfer on correctly. (Someone on here recommended a website with funny tee quotes)
'One for you, one for me' choc bars
mini sparklers
bath confetti
scented heart shaped candles
one of those his and hers crackers
matching luggage tags, travel wallet and travel journal (will put cash in wallet)
mini love hearts
sweet rock with 'mr&mrs' through the middle (they're from Devon/Cornwall)
Mr and Mrs photo frame
Think that might be most of it, although bound to have forgotten something!!!:rotfl:

Do you have a Hobbycraft near you? Their prices can sometimes be quite steep (not always) but it can be a good place to go and look, find something you like and them look around for the same but cheaper.
I know Hobbycraft among other places have had deals on Papermania scrapbooking albums (some come with papers and embellishments to get you started straight away)... http://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/productlist.asp?CatID=69&BCat=21,69&rootcatid=21&Brand=&a=resetsearch
Same/similar albums here...

ebay can be a good place to look for albums. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
