Just posted these pics on the handmade Easter thread but then thought I probably shouldn't cos I haven't exactly 'made' the presents - just put chocolate into buckets so thought I'll post the pics here...

Buckets were 50p each from Home Bargains (59p each or 2 for £1). Thanks for the info and pics on these threelittlepigs :T
Mini Malteser eggs x 2 bags - can't remember where I got these from but they were on offer...?
Cadbury's Creme Eggs £1.49 for 6 from Home Bargains
Marshmallow eggs 25p each from Home Bargains
Malteser bunnies from Asda 59p each I think?
Cadbury Egg Heads eggs £1.50 fr the 2 Tesco

Going to use the buckets for an egg hunt/ treasure hunt on Easter Sunday.

I had to wrap these up straight away so me and OH (ok, I really mean ME ) don't get tempted to start eating the eggs :rotfl:

maria and the imps - Our choices were Cameron Thomas and Joshua Lewis when we were having our babies, both we girls! I can't believe it was 5 months ago I was posting on here to say I had my most recent daughter

The whole time I was pregnant with DS2 I was certain he was a girl so had a girl name all sorted - Amelia, Milly after my nan. Had quite a shock when he arrived and decided within about half an hour to call him Thomas :D

I also thought I'd buy some bridal mags to put in - again though they are quite pricey so might have to only be one!! Any other ideas from anyone of bits I could put it?

What about a scrapbook for her wedding plans?
or a folder with ideas for wedding stuff, leaving blank pages for her notes, and clear pages for photos, with a monthly to do list?
    Loving the sunny days!

Rainmac they look fantastic ;) well done ... I saw them buckets when I was with bunbun .... price was right ;) .... I wish I had got some now as I nipped in locally to home bargains on way home from Bunbun and they had none at mine!!! ah well I didn't really *need them*

Finefoot, could you register with your local freecycle and ask if anyone has any wedding magazines they no longer need??
you could apply to a couple of companys asking for samples a lot of places do free samples of their stationary etc? ... I know studio does
you could do a journal in a jar for her but with weddingy type questions then she has the journal for wedding ideas aswell
Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists

Good choice! Its also Damon Hill's son's name. It just goes so well together, but Jessica Chloe it was meant to be!

  • rainmac - those are lovely, are they for a prize? I did an easter party last year and it was great fun. I usually get my daughter an easter set with a bowl, plate etc that we use all year round, but I know she would love a little hamper like that

I thought both my girls were boys! With my 2nd the pregnancy was so different from the first and I carried out front like people say you do with a boy. But I wouldn't swap either for the world.
