Not online, but the Card Factory sell nice hand made cards for 99p each. Or how about asking around? Some friends of friends may well make cards.

Hi Ruth, thanks for replying, I had forget about the card factory, will have a look in there next week. Thanks for the idea about friends and family but no one makes there own cards.

Love your biscuits Rusty, Think I'll have to make some of those!

Well my hamper is now ready to be wrapped up, really looking forward to next week now, just got to decide if I should take the hamper with us when we go away for the night? I'm hoping M&S do the meal deal thingy for the Friday night, and Saturday well the Rugby is on Wales V Scotland (Bought him a nice red welsh top for that!) so I doubt either of us will be in any fit state to do any cooking!!:j

  • Hi all, been one of those long time lurkers who've finally taken the plunge to say hello. Just wanted to say you all do a wonderful job with your hampers and it inspired me to do the same at Xmas; they were very well received! Unfortunately didn't take any pictures, but will from now on. Hope everyone has a great day :)

    Thanks Rusty,

I love the batteries, I am going to make a pair of hands as in an Helping hand. I will also do a set off batteries and make a tag to go with that.

A while before christmas a lady called Maria and the imps posted up about wrapping up to batteries together, adding a piece of paper saying gift not included! I found that quite funny as normally they all say batteries not included :)

Welcome to the madhouse Scrumpy60, now you have finally got out of the lurking stage and become a fully fledged posted on this thread there is no turning back ... so sit back, relax, take in the ideas, join in with your own ideas and most of all save lots of pennys on gifts that look so expensive and wear that smug smile knowing you paid less that you should ;)

I changed my mind on the tea hamper for my parents anniversary and it's just random things they'll like now, really.

I'm struggling a lot with what can be in there for my dad though.. any ideas? He likes gardening, his chickens, self sufficiency and stuff like that.. hates watching sports and stuff like that. Any ideas please? :)
