Thanks Hels - remember to post pictures when you put it together! Just thought to say that the red box I'm using was part of 3 for 2 in Matalan - got it at crimbo time but its perfect for Valentines - they've still got some of them in stock and they're even cheaper now at half price! Are you the Helen who just sent me Facebook friend request?

Loving these forums but I really have got toooo many ideas running through my head - really need to jot them all down in a notebook! Does anyone else get confused with all the different forum threads? I am getting totally befuddled!!! doesn't take much these days mind you!! Haven't had the greatest of days today so its nice to have all these crafty things to take my mind off the crapiness of my problems!

    Hi Popkins,
Yes it was me who sent you the friend request!:j
I managed to get a lovely red box in the January Sales, it did have a Christmas tag attached but I've taken that off!
I'm also going to make this card with my DS to put in http://jas.familyfun.go.com/arts-and-crafts?page=CraftDisplay&craftid=10307
Rusty Yours hampers are looking brilliant, I'm soooo jealous of all the lovely things you've been making lately!
    :xmassmile Looking forward to December:xmassmile

I did a shopaholic one for my mum for christmas...it had
Gel pads that you pop in shoes to help with achy feet
Tissues to use when crying over a missed bargain (or when your CC bill arrives!)
Iced coffee to give you energy
A pen to jot down lists of things to buy
A shopaholic stationary set with a stamp that says 'must have'
    Energy tablets
Tax disc holder that says 'Whoever said money doesn't buy you happiness, doesn't know where to shop!'
Should have added some foot soak and headache pills-they're a brilliant idea. Maybe she can have a shopaholic part 2 hamper for mothers day!

  • Thought this might be of interest to those making hampers. I bought these baskets today in Morrison's for under £8:

They also had a set of 3 square baskets, more of a natural rattan look, for the same price.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)
