Thought I'd finished then neighbour came round with pressie for us........so up I went to the spare room.........luckily I'd got a big cup with chocolate written all over it so OH got some ferraro rocher and I've filled it up with those. Should have some spare cello when I've done ex foster girls hamper so that'll finish it off. We don;e normally do pressies for next door but thos year she split up with her OH and we'ver had the girls occassionally........and shes a brilliant neighour to have.

Hi Rainmac the santa plate is from Wilkinsons my friend bought it so I'm not sure about price but I think it was about £1.

I was tasked with making our Boss a hamper for Christmas:eek:
She is notoriously difficult to buy for - 45 years old never been married and no partner, does not wear any makeup, does not style her hair and hasn't bought anything to wear since approx the late 80's and no hobbies apart from the gym. (I'm not being horrid she will happily admit to all this). Oh nearly forgot and is allergic to chocolate !!!!!!!! So armed with £50 pounds and 2 hrs (after working a 6 - 14hrs shift) yesterday I rushed around and managed to get some bits for the hamper:

    It includes:

    Soft white dressing gown
    Bottle of wine
Wine Flute (sprinkled some snowflake confetti into it)
    Bath Bombs
Shaun the Sheep Dvd (she loves him !!)
    Grumpy but Gorgeous eye mask
Hot Water Bottle (she doesn't have any heating at home)
    Cuddly Reindeer
    Scented candle

Just hope she likes it ;)

wow fantastic hampers and presents every one, I wish I was getting some of those.
 Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.
  • I just wrapped presents for 3 hours solid to go in hampers.... kept finding extra bags/boxes of stuff I stashed - most of it either from Mr B glitches or from stuff I got free from perusing the Freebie boards... well worth a look every now and again! :j

I'm sick of ribbon/paper now :rotfl: but had to wrap each thing individually as I wanted to cello each hamper and didn't want to them to be able to see the contents before they opened it

... (I just can't stop creating work for myself! Devil makes work for idle hands :p )

But only got to decorate & wrap the chocolate slabs and get Dad's pressie (and at last I know what to get him!!)

Wrapped OH's pot of gold and it looks so good - just want to say THANKS :T to whoever thought of it originally, such a simple idea but looks fabulous!!!!

Can't remember whose idea it was............the 12 yr old we foster is convinced it was his since he told me to fill an empty gravy granule tub with gold chocolate coins and call it a pot of gold..............I'd already done 'canned sunshine' -gravy granule tub covered in sunshine paper and filled with sherbert lemons, cannon rainbows -same thingbut multi coloured sweets inand rainbow paper.........so my first pot of gold was a tub covered with paper with pictures of coins on it.
Done ones in glass jars since then and lad we foster has done them for his sisters.
So many variations on one theme its incredible..............:j
