I'm just packing my christmas bits into my suitcase, so I can enjoy the weekend without getting too stressed ( )and I've got WAY too much stuff! Obviously I haven't made up the hampers that I'm taking with me, and I am quite a good packer (thanks mum! An excellent skill to pass on to me), but I have a HUGE suitcase almost filled with pressies. And I haven't even started packing toiletries or clothes yet...LOL!
DH will have to bring the medium size suitcase with the clothes and my pressies from him in, and even then I think I'm going to struggle. This is one of the times I wish I could drive. I'm dreading lugging this huge case across London and onto the train. I'll probably end up putting my back out again.
I even thought ahead and have some stuff delivered straight to my family, and took some bits down last visit. Still, Christmas Day will be far better than if I'd just bought everyone gift vouchers.:rudolf:Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Okay lovely ladies, I need your help (again) please!
So far I've got my uncle some of the tea sample tins from teapigs.co.uk like the ones here http://www.teapigs.co.uk/product/Tea/Black-tea/english+breakfast+tea as he likes to try different teas. I've also got him a very nice Starbucks insulated cup as he travels alot but would like to get something else to go with it, and ideally find something useful to put it in. I can't honestly see him re-using a basket, or even a bag-for-life type thing. Has anyone got any innovative ideas?
Thank you in advance.

Hiya everyone, have to say that making hampers for people is a genius idea! I'm a newbie to this board and boy do i wish i'd found it months ago. I've got loads of ideas for next xmas already and cant wait to get started (sad i know!)
I've not had chance to read through all of this thread, i've just finished looking at everyone fab photos and was wondering where's the best place people have found to buy the baskets from? I've got a few unused gift boxes, but i really like the wicker style ones. I dare say this has already been anwered during this thread, so i'll start reading through.£387.39/£196.46
