 Well done everyone , hampers are looking wonderful as usual!
I went into asdas at about 12 , the baby i was childminding was teething and a bit cranky so i made it quick but the shelves where the gifts were , were EMPTY ,
I did how ever get the last bits of finish off a hamper for a 13 year old boy, got asda hair gel , asda body spray , asda shower gel and i shall chuck either novelty socks or sweets in! I feel guilty only gettin the asda brand but that was before i got wages from babysitting lol! Oh well least it aint smart price!
I went into superdrug as i usually like there 3for2 offers but they only had ladies stuff then mens 3 for 2s were pointless/usless to my dad as he doesnt play golf or need razor sets lol.
But i should be childminding Monday too so that will help towards any more last minute shopping if needs be

Help, this is my first time ever posting. I need to get a basket for a food hamper and can't find anywhere selling them now. Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but what can I do? Does anyone have any ideas.
If you cannot find a hamper then cover a cardboard box with christmas paperI have done that for a few of mine and they still look fab and more MSE than baskets

Yes, I have done this too. If you shop in Asda there are usually loads of empty or near empty boxes on the actual shelves in the shop, just put some in the trolley. I came out with about 7 one week to cover with xmas paper. Bought that in there too for 16p a roll. The sweets aisle was the best size for what I wanted.0 -

Junior_j - if you're still stuck on something for your Dad, I've seen some excellent books in both the Works and B&M (or was it Instore...) which were about U2 and The Beatles etc, photos of the band over the years. I got my Dad one about The Stones, his fave band; beautiful hardback for about 3 quid!! They also have random things like that in TK Maxx - HTH!Upstairs for Thinkin'; downstairs for Dancin' :dance:0

Sorry to ask an annoying question but can anyone recommend an ebay seller, I'm after some cellophane bags for homemade cookie Christmas gifts (not the 'cone' shape ones, I've bought those already
). Can anyone recommend a seller that dispatches quickly, I've left it a little late as the last posting date is tomorrow!
The £2.00 Coin Savers Club = approx £22.00  :j.. The 20p Savers Club = £17.80.

Thanks Katie 2407 and Rustyflange for your answers. Just phoned my local Morrisons but they dont have any in stock at this time of year. Rang round a few places yday and same answer. Will try and find suitable size boxes. Was inspired by last years baskets to make one for a new baby earlier in the year and was very impressed that I could do this. Thought it would be a good idea for Christmas but didn't realize the problem of getting more baskets. They were all over the place in Jan/Feb, lol.Second purse £101/100
