Haha I didn't realise they were veggie as well - I really need to pay attention! In which case ignore my wheat-free mince pies suggestion... unless Sainsbury's do a meat-free-wheat-free mince pie! ;)

there's no meat in mince pies is there??

Isn't there suet in in the mincemeat which is traditionally made from animal fats?

Hello peeps - haven't posted here before but have been 'lurking' for a couple of weeks and already I'm addicted!! Was soooo impressed by all the hampers on the pictures thread that I decided pretty much to do hampers for everyone!!! I have somehow become addicted to buying flannels!!! With the view to making flannel muffins!!! My hubby things I've gone a bit demented - I am literally swamped in flannels!! LOL!! Have pretty much bought all the bits for the hampers just waiting for the cellophane to arrive!! Anyway just wanted to say hi - & thanks to everyone for creating the flannel addiction within me!!! LOL! Look forward to posting photos of my attempts once my cellaphane arrives!!

I'm veggie and find that these days most supermarket mince pies are vegetarian (made with veggie suet).

    Hope that helps.

This is one I have made up for a friend, she wanted it to cost £30 and it has come to about £32 and is a travel hamper for a work mate that is driving to Poland over christmas, not wrapped it yet.

Looks fab - can I just ask did you pay much for the flask? I'd love to pop one in my granddad's hamper but all the flasks I come across seem to be quite pricey!

Hi the flask only cost £2.95 in Tesco, I thought that was quite good, did see some stainless steel ones in the 99p store but they were a bit small. HTH
