Try Sainsbury's - they have a lovely 'free from' range including wheat free mince pies, italian bread, iced cakes, even vanilla custard! I think that could go down quite nicely- I should imagine the xmas season can be quite a nightmare for somebody with an allergy to wheat etc. In the 'special diet' section of Sainsbury's they also have other brands of wheat free products that aren't Sainsbury's own brand. Alternatively if you are a good cook you could look up some wheat-free recipes and make them some yummy things i.e flapjacks?0 -

Assuming they aren't vegan...
How about a chocolate themed hamper? I was a veggie for 6 years and chocolate was all that kept me going :rotfl: You could either do it like a sweetie bouquet on the other thread, or you could do a luxurious one... I just made some with "chocolate cupcakes" (brown and cream flannel cupcakes), chocolate incense sticks (ebay), chocolate slabs with their initials on, chocolate mud face masks, hot choc sachets in a mug etc. You can also get cocoa soap from tesco for 39p which would go in nicely, and some curly wurlys would make good space fillers
Alternatively, when you're veggie you end up eating a LOT of cheese because it's tasty, got protein, is readily available etc. You could put together a nice selection of cheeses and a recipe book or grater or something?0 -
Hamper I put together for a friend's Christmas present, basically the ingredients for a girly night in! There's a few other bits hidden underneath, such as more popcorn and a cookie making set.Mortgage: [STRIKE]08/13 £28,896.49[/STRIKE] 01/18 £00 -

Haha I didn't realise they were veggie as well - I really need to pay attention! In which case ignore my wheat-free mince pies suggestion... unless Sainsbury's do a meat-free-wheat-free mince pie!0 -
Hi guys, well after a few months of getting bits and pieces for my dads whiskey hamper, its finally ready to be wrapped:
3 whiskey miniatures about £2 ish each
Jack daniels whiskey shaped ice cube bags free
Jack daniels luggage tag free
Teachers whiskey chocs £1
Jack daniels whiskey glass (hidden at the front under more chocs) £3
Jack daniels gift tin free on 3 for 2 out of the catalogue (should have been £10) contains a Jack Daniels miniature and shot glass
Miniature Jack Daniels whiskey liquers 99p B&M's
The little green book at the back is just a guide to all the distilleries in Scotland (another freebie)
Basket free (already had)
So about £11 all in all. I usually only buy him a bottle of whiskey as that's all he asks for but thought i'd do something a bit different this year!0 -
