I want one of those choc boxes! They look really terrific! I love this thread, trouble is, you all have such good ideas that I end up wanting to make more!
Ive done my baskets but cant post photos as camera is in for repair. I feel like we're some secret society, I now look at all those gift sets in Boots ets and think, I could do that but better/cheaper. Well done everyone and thanks for the inspiration.

I am the same, I look at everything now and think I could do that for half the price and it would look so much better :o

Rusty, Went to Aldi today and they didn;t have any of your fab boxes but did get a set of round ones similar in design to yours and some other Xmasy square ones. They'll be fine but I really wanted ones like yours ;)

Ikea sell 100g bars of milk and plain chocolate for 45p a bar and I think it's great for making things with (only tried it in Rocky Road so far but it is yummy). Melts brilliantly in the microwave too!

Thanks :D ... If you want some of the boxes I don't mind getting them and posting them down to you? Let me know ;)

[snipped] I got the boxes from Au Natural they were £5 but 3 for 2. I think Au natural only have stores up north, though not certain.

They do reindeer ones too, which i have for my dads hamper

Thanks :) They are fab ... They have aunaturale stores all over the place, although some of them have now become something else. There is one in the midlands that I know of though ;)

Bunbun Forget everything I said, my books came just! Was a man in a van rather than royal mail. The marmite book is decieving, I was expecting a small flimsy thing but its a fair sized hardback book and has a RRP of £7.99 so definately worth the £3 :D

Not all of them! only some of them. We still have Au naturale here in freezing Blyth, and I know of a couple of others who are still A/N

I think they all are still owned by b&m although I could be wrong?? I know my local A/N has kept the same name but the price tags are b&m

Bizarre if you ask me :(

Wonder what will happen to woolworths, I felt quite sad today I nipped into a biggish one and the shelves were very empty :(

I do the same :D. We went shopping today to a large shopping centre and the OH said what are we here for as you've already bought everything and I said I just want a look at what's about. I saw so many things and just kept thinking how expensive everything was  Even after being to the shops I am very, very happy with what I've got/made/put together for everyone. I've got a lot more for my money doing it the way I have :D

rainmac - haven't got the right sort of ribbon for curls so I'll see what the florist has got. She's pretty good on prices for me.
