  • Does anyone find that changing channel takes ages... or is it just me?? I noticed that in the FAQ on the Virgin webpage that they say this is something they can't do anything about but I find it very annoying. Wondered if anyone else has this problem - never happened when we had sky?

This is great! I'm already with Virgin for my internet connection, I'll be bundling now that they've got Sky One as well. I'll lose Burn Notice on FX, but at these prices I can buy the DVDs!

We are with Virgin XL and we get FX on channel 179.

you can say that again - Virgin 1 is rubbish!!
I totally concur. Although I stayed with Virgin after we lost Sky 1, I have missed it terribly. I don't think I have ever watched Virgin 1 after about the first 2 episodes of The Sarah Connor Chronicles. It will be so good to have Sky 1 back. Anybody know is the latest series of Stargate Atlantis is on?

  • I have just called Virgin and i'm not a happy bunny. I have been with Virgin for years and get free tv as part of package. Used to get Sky 1 then it was removed and now it's coming back i don't get it. When I spoke to them I can have it if I pay another £11 a month( it's not going to happen) When i said but i used to have it the answer is we can change the channels it's in your contract.

Going to wait a few days then call back.

Next weekend sky are doing a catchup weekend so Virgin customers can catch up on what they have missed since they lost Sky One.

I have Tv-m boradband-L & phone unlimited for £30 but has now gone up to £33. I also get TV choice for free.... as an accident/error as I did not ask for it - worth £7 !!!

Would like to have sky-1 so looking to upgrade to TV-L.

So for tv-L broadband-L, phone-unlimited & tv choice how much do you think I should aim to realistically pay if I get a deal? My contract is now up for renewal.
