totally agree- alot of people seem to think they know and can trust each other but we are all on here under a pseudonym and could be anyone! I could be a 37 year old male profit protection manager for Boots and no one would be any the wiser. Just because I may have given a name and address to send a voucher does not mean I am really Mrs Blah.
I think if we are all a little less 'over the top' in our postings we will find Boots might be a little less interested and as a bonus we may find fewer duplicate postings and it will be easier to find what is new.
Just my opinion not aimed at anyone in particular.

Totally agree. Am I right in thinking a seperate Facebook group has been set up? If so those members should stay on there and leave this thread for glitches for us all to enjoy. I have swopped a few vouchers in the past but wont again as despite sending a SAE and my v oucher the person did not sent me the TS. I would like advice on how to spend my 6 pinkies and 2 TS as I dont have much time to shop. Also can the FCUK voucher be used on all washbags and can it be comninbed with no 7 to get GWP?? Thanks
  • I am a newbie to all this and have a q about these no7 vouchers. Can i get 1 r&m mirror? i read something on here about it being busted or something?

I didn't go to Meadowhall last weekend, but did the few weeks before and they haven't had those in for a couple of months now, so I wouldn't go specially.

Let me know if you see star palettes there, as I AM going there specially for them tomorrow ...

Ok going this afternoon so will report back later :D

It can only be used on the £14 weekend kit wash bag ( I tried a different one 'cos I didn't look properly at the picture!) Someone on here has used it with the mens 342 and old mens No7 GWP, but that was when the qualifying spend for the old mens GWP was £15 - don't know if anyone has done it with the new £20 spend GWP. You would still have to spend £20 on the No.7 before the 342.
On .com and in the xmas catalogue the FCUK is an Xmas 342, but the tills do not recognise this instore. hth

edit... instore it is valid on the mens 342

Not a direct reply to you rose28454...just using you to put something across :)

One last time :) ... The Facebook group was set up SO WE COULD BE NOSEY and this was AGES AGO! It was started after we were yakking and got in trouble for posting piccies etc. It was requested that someone set up something so I did. I have no interest to 'push' it(lord knows I have enough to do lol). But someone(me) just said 'ok I will'.

Nobody has said that this will be used for anything other than it's original purpose.

So no...when we had over 80 join last night alone I doubt very much we will be staying over there!

There have been many break away groups over the years(started lurking in 2005) and everyone still uses this thread. This thread is open to all. So just as we should all be nice and welcoming to lurkers/newbies/old tarts, we should also be nice to people who want to join a group.

I'd say that 99% of those joined were already a member of FB and it is a well used social platform these days and it is only normal...not cloak and dagger...for people to join groups on there. Let's face it...most members of FB are on there to be nosey and see what there mates are up to etc. Well the group was started for that reason ... we were nosey!

If you do not want to join then fine, if you do great, it is up to every individual. It is also up to us all to access or security and privacy online. Can people who want to add a group to their facebook account be left to judge that for themselves without being judged or asked to booger off?!

It was started as a positive, it has not become a negative, so can that please carry on?

So many things that are raised on this thread innocently become something which causes bad feeling and a divide. Please do not let some members deciding to join a simple group on facebook be yet another thing which causes it.

We have enough nasty repsonses and attitudes at times regarding lurkers/newbies/old tarts etc without adding 'facebookers' to the list!

Sorry about this HUGE post, but surely this matter can be put to rest?

Hello elastigirl - someone will correct me if I am wrong but the R & M mirror is a gift item and the no 7 vouchers are not supposed to be used against gifts. However if you get a good SA they may put this through for you and you will pay £1 - equally if you use SS tills then the voucher will scan. ;)
  • Couldn't find answer to this on front page - sorry.
Can you use pinky and pay balance in points?

no it is not valid on xmas 342 gifts (the ones with the green stickers), it was for a while on the mirror but not anymore.
There is a list on page 1, post 4 of items that can be got for free or very little money. Or get the new No.7 metallic eye liner pencil £7 use pinkie (no.7 voucher) and pay £2, but also if you put your advantage card in the acm instore, lots of people seem to be getting a voucher for 100 points when you buy the above eyeliner. hth
