Afraid I can't share anyone else's enthusiasm for Argos. They have told me three times I have a console to be delivered today and have put a charge through on my credit card.

However, having waited in all day, I just phoned to check and they say the console was out of stock when they came to despatch it. Therefore, I haven't got one and they can't say when they will have any more.

I'm furious. This is for a birthday present and they've left me up sh*tr creek now.

Well at last!! picked my xbox up from argos in swansea today.They had eight of the beauties in apparantly!! Personally i think argos is everyones best bet.Keep checking the stores and online as ive done stock checks only to find out that they had some in the local extra stores.I believe they had some in for online order sometime this afternoon according to a previous message posted so there is no excuse really if you missed out.Better fly now,got some serious 360 gaming to get on with :-)

Congrats dylan.You were right about them having them in online this afternoon.It was around 2pm that i had my confirmation email that there were some in stock.I snapped mine up straight away like an fly eating plant eating a fly.It will be here on tuesday.Dont waste your time with amazon and all those other con merchants who promise you the world(360) and give you nothing!Argos are the kings of swing and the only chance you have of getting a 360 this year.If you dont get your 360 from argos then you will be waiting until the 480 comes out.Keep your eyes pealed and you may be as lucky as me(proud owner of 360) - on tuesday!!

Don't count on it. See my post above... I ordered mine a week ago. Presumably there are others like me that Argos have let down who should be first in the queue - and they're saying they have no idea when I'll get mine.
