Sent an email to the telegraph myself today. It wouldn't be so bad if you could email them. Or if they were emailing us to say what is going on!Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

I ordered on the 3rd and have just logged in to find my "order is cancelled"
what a bunch of cowboys - in today's climate you'd think they'd be really keen to offer a good service, but with attitudes like this I wouldn't be surprised if they're all out of jobs soon. :rolleyes:0 -

After my earlier posting yesterday, OH sent a fax to them saying that he was not very happy that our order had been cancelled without notice and that the email we sent was bounced back undeliverable, said that the customer service was disgusting, and guess what, I have received a phone call back from them this morning saying that it was a promotional offer from the Telegraph and that the details had been "leaked" on to a forum and they had been bombarded with orders, also she said that because of the volume of orders there had been a very large amount of credit/debit cards that turned out to be fraudulant, and that our card was rejected by the bank, I DON'T THINK SO, I told her in no uncertain terms that there was nothing wrong with our cards, and if that was the case why did they not try contacting us, IF there was a problem, (load of bull, if you ask me), she did not answer that, but promptly asked again for the card number and low and behold we will be receiving the 2 goody gags that we ordered.
Guess what, we won't be taking any of their offers up again.

They're obviously trying to cut down the number of orders they have to handle.
No answer from my telegraph email so far. But to be honest I didn't expect one this soon. As soon as I get any sort of response I'll let you guys know what they say. If they don't answer then I will send a letter. I'm not having this sort of level of service. Its not on.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

I haven't received my order yet either, but really, they have said that they will deliver before 16 December, so am amazed that people are complaining so much.
I actually feel very sorry for companies like this who offer something nice, and then when they get absolutely inundated with orders because of the viral power of the internet, get slagged off because they can't fulfil 2 million orders. I had to phone them, and they sound like quite a friendly, small to medium business. They're probably working round the clock trying to fulfill your £3.99 order.
Sometimes you're lucky, and sometimes you're not. Don't take it personally, and don't blame the company, who have already made plenty of people on here very happy. As long as they don't take your money, they are not cheating you. If they've taken your money, wait until 16 December before complaining.
And be honest; how many of us found out about this deal from the telegraph? I'm surprised the company is honouring our orders at all.0 -
so why didn't they state "while stocks last" instead of continuing to take orders, sending out tat and fobbing us off?0
