I ordered on the 2nd (sunday) it said they would not take money untill item was shipped , i checked my credit card and money was taken same day ,

Ordered on the 4th. I got an email saying they would deliver in 1-2 days but back orders would be in 4 weeks and no money would be taken until ready to ship.

I ordered 3, Money has already been taken. I don't mind about the later delivery though, less I have to hide from prying eyes, lol.

That is very late delivery when we dont actually know what we will be getting. I ordered mine so my parents could take some of them to oz when they go see my sister and kids but they go late november, so not much good now glad it was only £3.95 maybe i could give them to charity.

I Ordered a few days ago and the money has been taken straight away!

I was splitting the items between christmas and my daughters birthday which is on the 6th of December so the late delivery is a bit annoying!

a local homestart group would make very good use of them as they will dish them out for under priviledged children for christmas x

artydoll, sounds like a strange case.

i don't know if you'll get your order but i certainly wouldn't bank on it.

but just cos you're not banking on it doesn't mean it's not worth chasing. give them a phone and ask about this phantom order, because you are a regular reader of the peper(!) of course and placed your order in plenty time and you have the confirmation email - which you can email to them as proof if they need you to.

i think they've been inundated with people ordering what looks like a loss-leader so they'll be looking for any excuse to not sent out as many as they can. for thsi reason i think it's worth chcking / chasing them ArtyDoll.

So are they definitely not delivering them til mid December? I had a card through the door from City Link today and when I rang to rearrange delivery he mentioned that the stuff was from Amazon but i've received all my Amazon stuff from the postman so wondering if it's this? Don't know why he said it was from Amazon strange man. I haven't got anything else on order I don't think

Not getting it til Monday now so fingers crossed it's this. Or I'll have a nice little surprise on my hands :rotfl:
