I did slimming world for 6 months last year and lost almost 3 stone. I kept it off at first but slowly started creeping on especially since the summer holidays, i'm on... not had a decent sh!te for months now so I dont know how I did it lol
I lost a shed load of weight after I had the savage, got down to 9 1/2 stone which was light for me as ive always hung around the 13 stone mark.
My heaviest was almost 20 stone. I imagine after this week of being on, I will weigh in at 12.12lb ish on monday. I don't look "right" being lighter than 12stone as I am tall ish lol
it is easy to lose the weight if you are in the right mind set. Exercise and water did it for me the first time, its harder this time round as I have my hip operations to contend with.
If you need any help Muffy - I know the ins and outs of it all, I know all the tips to shed it quickly too! And they work
Polo, you have done really well!!:D Wish i was as motivated!!0 -

well done muffy, I cant lose nothing no matter what I do. Once I get down to a certain weight my body fights back even if Ive not eaten enough to maintain.
Going through 'the change' and all I do is retain water for 2 weeks and then lose that and the circle repeats.
I love exercise and do 50 mins a day but its all pointless right now, had to refuse HRT as I feared Id put more on with that too0 -

Yeah i have done ww in the past. I must admit though, those i know who have done slimming world, tended to have maintained their loss a lot longer.

I can't comment on SW but WW worked for me as I am just one of these people that doesn't like to be told what food I can have and on what day...with WW, you can have what you like, you just need to stay within the number of points you have been given. And I have managed to keep the weight off and it was about 8 years ago.A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition~ William Arthur Ward ~0
