Some of the things that are publicised as being the view of the ethnic or religious minorities are purely the work of the media creating problems. It is wrong to openly spout hostility about another purely because of race/gender/religion/sexuality/etc etc. It isn't wrong to be openly hostile about someone because they're a bloomin horrible person.
I'm with pigpen and Santa here. Let's judge people on their naughty or nice behaviour.... and not what the media tells us about their alleged feelings/views/behaviour.
Ooooh you all got pottylitical last night...:D must have been the elections... Well done Obama!!!:T
I don't agree that it's the media, think they make everything 50 times worse, but if stupid councils hadn't started the 'no conkers in school', 'don't call them dinnerladies, call them lunchtime supervisors', and all the other PC carp that is just too much to put on here that they come up with, no wonder people get so p'd off and rebel at the thought of it - when so much basic stuff that we took as a British right is rubbished, its no wonder the media have a field day and make more of an issue of it - as they say, give them the fodder....
OK, back on track, too early to be thinking that way, need to get my head around this work and get on...

Hi all,
Just a quick [strike]1[/strike] 2 before I'm off... thought this might help with the dull weather...
as explained by Cliff Clavin, of Cheers. One afternoon at Cheers, Cliff Clavin was explaining the Buffalo Theory to his buddy Norm. Here's how it went:
'Well ya see, Norm, it's like this. A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.'
And if any of you have wayward children who won't visit this christmas...
A man in Scotland calls his son in London the day before Christmas Eve and says, I hate to ruin your day, but I have to tell you that your mother and I are divorcing; forty-five years of misery is enough. Dad, what are you talking about?' the son screams. We can't stand the sight of each other any longer,' the father says. 'We're sick of each other, and I'm sick of talking about this, so you call your sister in Leeds and tell her.'
Frantic, the son calls his sister, who explodes on the phone. 'Like hell they're getting divorced,' she shouts, 'I'll take care of this,'
She calls Scotland immediately, and screams at her father, 'You are NOT getting divorced. Don't do a single thing until I get there. I'm calling my brother back, and we'll both be there tomorrow. Until then, don't do a thing, DO YOU HEAR ME?' and hangs up.
The old man hangs up his phone and turns to his wife. 'Okay,' he says, they're coming for Christmas - and they're paying their own way..'LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
Tiddles has insoles for her shoes now and has to have her middle toes strapped to try to encourage them to grow straight.. and she went hysterical because she does not want them strapping up.. and I can't get out of her why.. she was just being weird I think!! But if she doesn't get them straighter (she walks all over them at the moment) they will want to operate on them when she is older.... one of you must have experience of this... HELP!..
Well you know what 3 year olds are like  (I've got one myself ) You can't reason with them, so explaining that it's strapping them or operating on them later on won't work. I'm sure she'll get used to them. Sorry I'm no help, but I do sympathise.0
