Hi all
Home from work and have just had my tea. Really now need to get motivated and get some bits done before going out to Tescos. Need 50 highlighters for the pupils tomorrow taking their GCSE English exam. I found 30 at work but as we have 80 taking the exam, more are needed. We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0 -
Valli I was thinking about you earlier, and hoping you were ok. I wanted to say, without being mushy.... I love your posts. You always make me laugh.MMSSB Club Founder Member

Besides which I can't do wise and appropriate comments like you and Pigpen
so that's why I do dittos and echoes! Toots and Serena thanks for the direct messages...much appreciated
(I think of Toots as a sort of cheerleader while Flower is a secret Peg addict waiting to come out of the closet ... mmmm ... she's been quiet today?)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I am slowly loosing the will to live with these photos
I'm on the last group now, but its a huge batch! THEN I've got to seperate them all out into individual pics and sort them into seperate folders/files so I can just print them tomorrow.
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Evening all
Frazz - blimey! No wonder you're exhausted! Take it easy Petal - don't wear yourself out!
SummerMoon - calm down - the move will happen - honest! The packing will find itself miraculously done by the end of the week And that's great about the cooker!
Johanne - hugs love - but I think it's probably for the best. You've not been seeing eye to eye recently have you? But it's an awful way to tell you. You need to focus now on you and the little one.
Mudbath - good news about it NOT being shingles
Justamum - fingers crossed for your allotment!
Lil-me - glad you had an enjoyable 'away from it all' day and I hope the investiture went well.
Pigpen - love - hugs to you - you're having a bit of a time of it I think
And all the poorly ones - hugs and soothing drinks to you.
Reasonable day at work. Got home, logged on and then we had an internet outage so I was FORCED to go and do some flying! So, in the time it took for the tubes to right themselves, I swept the kitchen floor, watered all the plants, sorted out the tomato plant in the aerogarden that was in serious need of pruning back, put two washing machine loads on and swapped drying stuff around on airers. Rummaged in the freezer and defrosted some chicken pieces for dinner tonight AND had the foresight to dig out a joint of ham to defrost to cook up tomorrow night. Emptied the DW, filled and put on the BM, swished and swiped the bathroom and changed the mats and generally tidied up. I was good I was!
Now all I need to do is sling these chicken pieces in a casserole on a bed of celery and onion and stuff and it should be nicely done for about 8.30pm.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

trouble is I like 'talking' to you lot so much...
Frazz slow and steady keeps it clean...unless you go s-o s--l--o--w--- that you stop! Well done you (lost my reply on my first attempt...)
