Used http://www.mylostaccount.org.uk/ and received a letter asking me to confirm my signature. One account with 4 pence, and one account with £16.56. Just waiting for the money to hit my current account.

Overpaying £5523 this month thanks to a couple of stock market related investments netting a 20% gain.

I've also removed an unsecured £3500 credit card stooze debt from my figures as this is due to be settled in October as I'm forecasting funds to cover this come September.

Called Halifax and asked them if they would change my account from a 'High Interest' current account (which pays peanuts) to a Reward account which nets an additional £5 per month.

Still on target for MF on August 14th. I could in theory move this forward a month however I'm going to start transitioning from 'throw everthing at the mortgage' to 'spend a little more on the family'. It's an odd (nice) feeling.

    15 weeks to go.

Big well done to all on your overpayments so far! Inspires me to keep the momentum going too.
Can't believe how far advanced some are against their targets for the year, and it's only the beginning of May! Fantastic stuff!

    Anyway, number 212 here again.
OP'd this morning to the tune of £1000 (nice round number), which makes £2600 YTD.

Mortgage now down to £10,031, overpaid over £2,500 this year. I should have started overpaying earlier. 3 years ago I was paying interest-only on a £40,000 mortgage.

Well just reporting my April overpayment  yes I know it's May already - of £305 making £1320 for the year so far. I just noticed that leaves the mortgage at £204000 so I'm hopefully well on my way to getting it below £200k by end of year. Esp if the SVR stays where it is :) Hope everyone else is doing ok.
