    Hi everyone

well I've managed £201 this month or rather other half has, was hoping for more but hey ho. I've had my brother staying for the past 3 weeks which has eaten into my o/p as he's eating us out of house and home. He's great company just not great for my bank balance lol.

Well done everyone on your payments the thread helps keep me motivated.

    Hi
Could I join in please? I will have a shortfall when my endowment matures so need to start overpayments. My target for this year is £3000. Hope that's ok.

Hi there, no. 187 finally reporting in ...

As we have an offset mortgage, rather than paying it directly off the mortgage, I've been squirrelling it away in a "pot" so that it's available for a rainy day (which was just as well, as we've had one or two!)

However, today I have actually paid £455.44 off the actual, physical mortgage to bring our mortgage down to exactly £60,000 :j.

In the "pot" there is £2,000, but I won't declare that until the end of the year.

DH is fully engaged with the thought of bringing the mortgage down, on the flipside, we have started to look for the next house! But, in the knowledge that won't be for another 5yrs. But, gotta start dreaming :)

No 241 reporting in with April's figures.

Things have slowed down somewhat having bought a new car & paid remainder of holiday spends off card.

Still £291.10 overpaid out of dribs & drabs this month, this will be nearer the mark for most months I think.....but will hope for more! :) Brings total overpaid so far to £3187.99, target being £3500. On reflection I think we'll up that to £5000....makes note to PM Zavarony. ;)

Keep up the good work everyone.:T

Managed to overpay by £400 this month, well pleased, and have now got my term reduced to 10 years saving me lots of interest.

Hopefully will exceed my £1200 target by mext month.

    Will pm Zav.
