No 181 checking in. I've managed to find a bit more for March, so this months overpayment of £532.43 has now gone off the mortgage, giving a YTD total of £1440.46 or 48% of my 2009 total.
This is thanks to Nationwide who keep dropping my interest rate. Paying 0.78.% from April. :T
I will pm Zavarony with the numbers update.
Thanks for your hard work Zavarony:j

Thanks OTT, I was just lucky that I picked a tracker instead of a fixed deal last time. Unfortunately it runs out in July 2009, so I'm starting to look around for a low3 or 5 year fixed.:j

MFIT-T3 #2 - Reduce (new) mortgage from £270k to £225k whilst renovating and with our first baby on the way! £265,654.56 so far0 -
No mortgage reduction since my last post however this morning I received a letter from National Savings informing me that I have one or more dormant accounts with them and would I provide a sample signature! I used http://www.mylostaccount.org.uk/ to search.
It could be 50p or £5...... still, it's 'free' money.0
